Charice is a shoolgirl in “Chipmunks 2″!

A dream come true for the Philippines’ international teen diva Charice will play a role in 20th Century Fox’s “Alvin and The Chipmunks 2,” a live action-animation movie scheduled to be shown in January 2010.
“It’s not a big role but the fact that it’s a Hollywood movie is already a big deal for me.”
In her scene in the film, Charice represents her school at a singing contest in which she sings the Alicia Keys song No One, competing with other contestants that include The Chipmunks.
“I auditioned for the role, was made to read the script and speak like a Chipmunk. I sang two songs, Listen and Irreplaceable, both by Beyoncé,” said Charice.
But it was smooth sailing for Charice. The Chipmunks director saw Charice in Oprah and he liked her performance.

I understand why they decided to have Charice sing “No One” instead of “Listen”
Charice’s performance of Listen would have beat the Chipmunks in their own movie
I bought the soundtrack and Charice’s No One sounds like a winner too!
Good luck Chipmunks and Chipettes you have some serious competition with Charice as she talks like you and is even as cute as you. So, hope you have text voting as Charice seems to have trouble with that in past
