Mega Manila TV Ratings Aug. 10: Top 3 occupied by GMA7!

“Darna“, with Marian Rivera in the title role, debuted with a very high 44.1% ratings last night, August 10, 2009. This is very high since the last time that GMA7 reigned in the ratings game. Despite the presence of Comedy King Dolphy on “May Bukas Pa” the pilot episode of Darna still rules! But it is still it’s 3 point shy from the pilot rating of the first “Darna”.

The 2005 Darna, with Angel Locsin portraying the coveted role, generated a 47.1% pilot rating.

GMA7 has been right all along to call Marian Rivera, the Primetime Queen. It is expected that the ratings will still rise since Marian Rivera is yet to appear in Darna.
