Bela Padilla’s explains racism on her FHM cover photo!

Kapuso actress Bela Padilla who was supposed to be the cover girl of FHM Philippines for the month of March 2012 was scrapped altogether for being racist.

She was recently interviewed  by BBC News’ Mishal Hussein for the show “Impact” Tuesday, February 28.

This is what she said of the accusation of being racist:

“I don’t really have any idea that I would get such negative reaction. But I was proud with the cover we did because racism was totally out of our heads. So I didn’t expect that we’d get negative feedback from it because we had no intention of discriminating anyone anyway.”

She further said that we have to see the related article on the magazine:

“You have to see the article to understand the cover that we shot. Honestly, some of those girls were actually Filipinas painted in black, not to represent Africans, but we were really doing that to portray shadows because, like I said, it’s my coming of age.”

“They wanted a symbolization of me getting out of my old shadow. So, they were all supposed to represent me. And we weren’t thinking of harming anyone and we weren’t thinking of racial discrimination.”

What do you think?

Are you serious Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli new movie in the works?

Maja Salvador has just announced that Star Cinema is again going to produce another movie starring herself and boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli.

This is what Maja said of the news:

“May bonggang project, may niluluto. Sobrang ginigisa pa pero ang bibigat kasi ng mga ingredients. Sobrang pinaghahandaan namin ito. Maganda siya.”

Their last movie My Cactus Heart just earned P23-M for two weeks, and it is a certified flop. And  the movie was made in over two years, now Star Cinema is making another movie again starring the two stars.

Are they serious? What do you think?

Will the movie make money this time around?

Coco Martin on seeing the Pope for the first time in Vatican City!

Coco Martin and some cast of the Walang Hanggan went to Milan, Italy nad the Vatican City to shoot some very important scene  for the top rated teleserye.

While taping at the Vatican City he made time to attend a mass and was surprised to see Pope Benedict XVI was also there. It was just pure luck and a big coincidence that the Pope was there.

This is what he said:

“Nagpunta kami sa Vatican para mag-Mass, para magpasalamat. First time ko nagpunta roon tapos nagkataon pa nan nandoon ang Pope, sobrang blessing po.”

He’s one lucky guy indeed!

Gerald Anderson on being called “Babe” by Sarah Geronimo: “Wow!”

Gerald Anderson revealed in a recent interview that he was elated by Sarah Geronimo calling him “Babe”!

But the two are still in denial and they still maintain that their relationship status is still the cliche’ “friends”.

Here is what Gerald revealed in the recent interview.

On Sarah calling him babe:

“Napanood n’yo naman na nagulat rin ako! Sa totoo lang, hindi ko po alam kung bakit nangyari yun. But siyempre, nakita n’yo na nagulat ako.”

“Pero at the same time, kinilig rin ako. Nanghina ang tuhod ko nun. Siyempre, isang Sarah Geronimo at biglang tinawag kang ‘babe,’ Wow!”

They were seen very cozy to each other but this is what he said on their relationship status:

“As much as gusto kong sabihin na kami [ni Sarah], we’re friends and hindi po ako nagsisinungaling sa inyo. She does inspire me and I’m just really happy na nakilala ko siya in a different level.”

“But hindi po kami, hindi kami. Masaya ako kung anong status namin ngayon.”

He insisted:

“Maybe there’s something… but sa ngayon, friends po talaga kami.”

What do you think? The twi are still in denial to the public?
