Chinese-Filipino registered nurse Marjorie Kwan was on her way home to RGA Village, Paciano Bangoy, this city, when shot dead by riding in tandem gunmen around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses said Kwan refused to surrender her bag to the gunmen, prompting one of the suspects to shoot her. The victim succumbed to four gunshot wounds in her hand, chest, back and head. She deid on the spot.
Marjorie was a 2009 Bachelor of Nursing graduate from San Pedro College in Davao City.
The murder of the beloved Marjorie has sparked call for justice online on Facebook and Twitter.
Police said on Sunday they already have the identity of the suspects, but refused to reveal them pending further investigation.
