Rihanna who was hired by skincare and beauty brand Nivea for their 100th birthday anniversary campaign has been dropped as the face of their product!
The reason is her turbulent personal life and raunchy party image girl which doesn’t gel with the company’s 100 year long family friendly image.
Nivea’s new CEO Stefan Heidenreich has this to say of her firing:
“I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
“Rihanna is not compatible with the Nivea brand values. It was not a question of the success or failure of the campaign.”
