It’s going to be another night in showbiz history to remember as ABS-CBN Star Magic celebrates its 20th year of gifting the local entertainment with world-class artists and performers in the annual Star Magic Ball.
Tomorrow, Sept. 1, the magic ball will be held at the Rizal ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel and will be hosted by Piolo Pascual, John Lapus and John Lloyd Cruz. The stars will be dressed to the nines in black and white ensembles. Gowns and suits from top fashion designers like Jun Escario, Ivar Aseron, Dong Omaga-Diaz, Rhett Eala, Ronaldo Arnaldo, Amir Sali, John Herrera, Eric delos Santos, Hindy Weber Tantoco, Bing Cristobal, Albert Figueras, Veejaye Floresca, Jeffrey Rogador, Sassa Jimenez, Tina Daniac, Joey Samson, Regine Tolentino, Albert Andrada, M Barreto, Jovan dela Cruz, Mannie Jalasan, Ferdie Abuel, Goulli Gorospe, Simon Ariel Vasquez, Estien Quijano, Jay Custodio, Harvic Dominguez, Olan Roque, Analiza Felix, Nat Manilag, Avel Bacudio, Edwin Tan, Randy Ortiz, Inno Sotto, Pepsi Herrera, Francis Libiran, Paul Cabral and Rajo Laurel will make the stars shine their brightest on the red carpet. Dave Ocampo, Cheetah Rivera, Gerswin Qua, Mark Tamayo, Nico Agustin and Lev Rodriguez of Fashion Designers Alliance of the Philippines (FADAL) also provided ball outfits for the stars.
This year’s event will not only be attended by Star Magic’s current roster of talents but also artists whom they have helped shaped and launched careers since the management center began in 1992. Also expected to attend are famous names in the industry from directors, film and TV producers to entrepreneurs and network executives.
Highlights of the ball include the yearly cotillon that introduces Star Magic’s upcoming artists and the launch of the Star Magic Catalogue 2013, where guests will get a first look at its newest star portfolio. There will be song numbers from Sam Milby, Khalil, Xian Lim, Vina Morales, Erik Santos, Jovit Baldivino, Nyoy Volante, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Richard Poon, Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto and Ryan Cayabyab. A special tribute also goes to those who work behind the camera, the ones making every artist’s success possible and the much-awaited awarding ceremony where the exceptional stars of the night will receive honors.
Star Magic also gives special mention to those who made the event possible like Keren Pascual, event stylist Robert Blancaflor, BaiCapture photo booths, 0+ electronic gadgets, Moet and Chandon champagne and Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
