Nora Aunor‘s performance in her latest film ‘Thy Womb’ won her the Bistado d’Oro Award, making her the first ever Pinay to win the award!
Bisato d’ Oro Award from an independent award giving body in Venice, the award was given by the Premio Della Critica Indipendente, a jury of independent film critics.
“Thy Womb,” directed by Brillante Mendoza, also in the cast are Lovi Poe and Mercedes Cabral.
“Thy Womb,” is up against 17 films vying for the Golden Lion award at the 69th Venice International Film Festival.
