A court insider revealed that Kris Aquino’s tax declaration is said to have stated over 300 million pesos in earnings in the last five years of her marriage to James Yap. Meanwhile, James Yap had a reported total earning of 20 million during the same period. Since Kris Aquino filed for nullity of her marriage to James Yap, should the court nullify their marriage, they could divide properties amounting to the last five years they were together.

Oone of the couple’s biggest properties the couple owned is their high-end condominium in Makati, where they resided after they sold their Valle Verde home early this year.

James Yap confirmed Aquino’s earlier declaration that they did not have a pre-nuptial agreement when they wed on July 5, 2005.

James Yap camp maintained that they are not running after his wife’s money at all.

In the latest issue of K (Kris Aquino) Magazine, Philippine showbiz’ ‘Queen of all Media’ Kris Aquino opens her heart to her readers in an exclusive tell-all personal account titled, “Endings & Beginnings.”

Here, Kris reflects on some of her life’s most difficult decisions from issues of duty, career and love. She reveals what gave her the courage to make these hard choices; rise above pain, loss and disillusionment; and move forward—stronger, better and wiser.

“I choose to look forward…I have learned many lessons in the past five years of marriage and the most important one is that my silence will give my sons and I have a greater chance of moving forward in a less damaging way,” says Kris. “I don’t need to expound on what has become of my marriage. I will maintain the dignity of my silence because I owe it to Bimby, Josh, my sisters and my brother to keep quiet. Apart from James and me, they are the only people in my life directly affected by my decisions.”

Since the breakup, nasty rumors and malicious speculations have been circulating about a possibility of a new love. But Kris clears the issue by saying, “I won’t enter into any new relationship while my marriage is still legally binding. It’s only when I’m legally free that I will ever think of dating again and even if you ask me now, I believe I’m already done with any romantic illusions. Lasting love and a committed relationship just don’t seem to be part of my fate.”

Kris further shares about her firm resolution amid many changes and challenges. “I have grown up and I will continue to mature…My life is far from perfect, but I’m not complaining. I choose to be excited about my now empty glass, because I look forward to what will be pouring in…I look forward to continue becoming a better me.”

Finally after announcing that she ended her marriage with basketball superstar James Yap, Kris Aquino file for the annulment of their marriage in Makati City yesterday, August 10, 2010!

She filed for marriage annulment before Judge Cristina Sulit of Branch 140 of Makati. The prosecutor assigned to her sala is Christopher Garvida.

The ball is now rolling for her wish to come true!

After months of speculations now the reality sets in for Willie Revillame and Wowowee!

The top rated noontime show will have its final episode this coming Friday, without their host Willie Revillame. And on Saturday, July 31, 2010 a new show will have its premiere replacing Wowowee.  ABS-CBN is launching a new noontime show called Pilipinas For The Win (FTW) a variety and game show. The new show will be hosted by Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang, and Kris Aquino.

As for Willie Revillame, ABS-CBN already informed him of this new development and they are planning another show for him to be aired in the future as what the management has said.

Kris got the services of the law firm Marcos Ochoa Serapio and Tan and  according to the lawyer from the firm Atty. Anna Liza Logan, that Kris is not seeking legal separation as there were several loopholes in her marriage with James.

“We will have the court decide na yung marriage was void from the beginning, so there was no marriage from the beginning. Sa legal separation kasi, the marriage bond is not dissolved so they be separated in pact but they cannot marry anyone else. So for a petition for a declaration of nullity or annulment, once the decree is final, they can marry somebody else,””Atty. Logan said.

Atty. Logan refused to elaborate the reasons behind Aquino’s decision to annul her marriage with James.

“We can’t pre-empt. Ayaw muna namin. May privacy yung parties. Tapos confidential ang proceedings especially if a child is involved,” she said.

When asked about the custudy of their only child baby James, Logan mentioned that based on the Family Code of the Philippines “no child under 7 years of age shall be separated from the mother, unless the court finds compelling reasons to order otherwise.” But she said that Kris is open to discussing the custody issues with James.

The newest host of “The Buzz” is KC Concepcion, she will replace a slot vacated by Ruffa Gutierrez. There have been a lists of people whom they think would replace Ruffa. Vice Ganda‘s name appeared to be on the short list, but that was just a rumor.

The third host is indeed KC Concecion, Kris Aquino already gave a big thanks to the  mega star Sharon Cuneta for allowing KC to be part of the show.

KC will start her hosting stint come April 11, 2010, let us just wait and see if she can cope up with her co hosts especially Kris Aquino, who is known for cutting the conversation of her co-hosts whenever she feel like it and it includes Boy Abunda.

During last Sunday’s episode of The Buzz, Kris Aquino cried a bucket and contemplated on leaving the entertainment talk show amid harsh criticisms against her for good.

A reliable source said that, she will announce on Thursday her decision to leave or to stay on The Buzz.

On last Sunday’s episode she shed tears for her co-host’s touching farewell message, and most of all from the harsh criticism she received regarding the controversies involving her co-host Ruffa Gutierrez and that her brothers name, Noynoy Aquino was also dragged into the controversy

Ruffa Gutierrez accepted the apology of Kris Aquino, denies that she walked out of the show last Sunday.

Below is her official statement:

Let us move forward with dignity and honor. Love, love, love! Peace, peace, peace! God bless us all!

I was reluctant to make a statement regarding such a small incident but since I felt the need to defend myself against unwanted rumors and ayoko na pong palakihin ito, I am saying my piece.

First of all, I hold Tito Boy (Abunda) and Kris in such high regard as professional mentors.

Secondly, I wasn’t reacting to just the video clip shown wherein Kris remarked, “Aminin mo, mas masaya dito.” Hindi naman po ako mababaw at pikon na tao. I always conduct myself as a professional to let small matters such as that bother me. That being said, the reason why I reacted that way, seemingly OA or not, is because aside from being understandably emotional since it was my last two episodes in The Buzz, the series of condescending remarks noticed by viewers through the years which I have constantly brushed off in the spirit of“pakikisama” also took a toll on me.

I invite you to view replays of past episodes on-line and you will understand exactly where I’m coming from. Offcam, sometimes Kris acknowledged my presence and other times (like that Sunday, March 7), I would be ignored.

I didn’t “walk out.” After what I thought was a commercial break, I felt tears were starting to well up. I went back to my dressing room to compose myself. But the tears wouldn’t stop.

Thirdly, my mom has nothing personal against Sen. Noynoy and the Aquino family. She never attacked the good senator’s character. Just like you and I, my mom has her own perspective and we should respect that. After all, we do live in a democracy.

Lastly, in the spirit of unity and as a nod to our long tenure on The Buzz, I appreciate and accept Kris’ public apology. I will always remember my three years on The Buzz with great fondness. I will miss everyone dearly!

“I had dinner with Noynoy tonight after his TVC shoot. He told me di raw ba kami pwede na may quiet Sunday kami? And he asked why siya nadamay when he’s not even part of The Buzz. I would like to extend a loving hug to Ruffa. I viewed the tape and although I still feel I gave my comment with affection, maybe it made her feel even worse because she is now moving in a new direction. We had what I believed was a good working relationship in the almost two years we were together on The Buzz.

“I can also understand that Ruffa’s mom dislikes Noynoy and my family, maybe because of association and vocal proclamation of admiration for Dingdong (Dantes) and his selfless contribution to help Noy’s presidential bid. It is also with Ruffa that I enjoyed a healthy working relationship with and I only have good words to say about her.

“To Ruffa, I sincerely apologize for causing you hurt. My brother Noynoy would like to add that we live in a democracy—one where every one is free to make our own choice for president. This text came from my sister Pinky—tomorrow is Women’s Day. For your information, it was my mom who passed laws making this possible (Proc. No. 224 and 227, both signed in March 88) and RA 6949 (signed April 1990, declares Mrch 8 as National Women’s Day). We celebrate women who triumphed despite odds and need to look at ways to further improve. That’s why I want Ruffa to have a great career ahead of her—because she is a woman raising two beautiful daughters. And I champion all women who triumph despite the odds—just like my own mom.

“Noy told me in any election we’ll have our share of fervent supporters and harshest critics. And if you can’t take the heat then politics isn’t for you. As a woman and as Ruffa’s mom and the lola of Lorin and Venice, I respect you Tita Annabelle and on behalf of our family I apologize for the distress we caused yours. Hindi po ako mayabang, kaya ako nagpapakumbaba ngayon.

“On a last note, I promised Noy that if he does win and I’m a cause of stress for him and his presidency, I’ll gladly take my two boys and live anywhere there is TFC so that I can continue my work but with our overseas Filipino brothers and sisters. Of course, Noy said—dinner daw yun hindi teleserye ko. I love my family and I’m so grateful to have such a supportive and grounded brother and sisters who have learned to love me for all that I am. Thank you for your time and may God bless all of us with a peaceful week ahead.”
