Ai-Ai delas Alas was ecstatic to declare before she left for the US and got hitched with his younger husband Jed Salang that her monthly period is delayed and that she might be pregnant.
But, with her age at 48, delayed menstruation could also mean that she is experiencing menopausal signs. But that will not deter her from having a baby with Jed.
This is what she said:
“We might resort to in vitro fertilization… I pray to God to let me live longer so I can spend more time with Jed.”
Everything going great for Ai Ai delas Alas and younger boyfriend Jed Salang after their misunderstanding that almost ended their relationship!
Ai Ai and Jed are now off to an undisclosed hide away for a much needed Holy Week break. And before they left a very reliable source said that Jed proposed to Ai Ai.
And Ai Ai claims that she is nine weeks delayed and that she maybe pregnant.

Ai Ai delas Alas tagged as a cougar as she is in relationship with a much younger businessman Jed Salang, who is 20 years her junior!
On her recent guesting on KrisTV, Ai Ai defended herself and explained that a relationship between a woman who’s much older than a man is possible with God’s love. And that a younger lover does not always connote that they are after her wealth.
This is what Ai Ai said:
“Palagi namang ganoon eh. Minsan sinasabi ko sa sarili ko yung kapag may ibang tao yun ang sinasabi, minsan tinatanong ko ang sarili ko ‘bakit hindi ba ako pwedeng mahalin ng isang disenteng bata?’ Hindi ba, pwede naman. Mukha lang akong walang pinag-aralan pero college gradute ako. Sabi ko ‘cute naman ako, maputi naman ako, maganda naman ako, pwede naman, hindi ba?’ So yun sinasabi ko na lang sa sarili ko.”
On wealth issue with younger lover:
“Hindi lahat parating puro pera. Hindi lahat ito yung habol ng isang tao. Pwedeng mangyari na ang dalawang tao ay nagmamahalan ng hindi lang dahil sa ganoon.”
She said further:
“Sa aming dalawa, wala kaming sabit. Wala siyang sabit, wala akong sabit. May mga anak kami pero parating tinatanong ‘bakit siya (si Ai Ai) eh mas matanda siya sa iyo?’ Yun lang naman ang deprensiya namin yung age namin. Ngayon naniniwala ako na age doesn’t matter. Ang pag-ibig, hindi nakikita sa kung ano ang edad mo. Ang pag-ibig hindi nakikita kung mahirap o mayaman ka. Ang pagmamahal nandoon yon, emosyonal yon, it’s a universal feeling na nararamdaman ng dalawang tao na hindi natin mae-explain kung bakit. Ako I think noong una ko siyang nakita, nararamdaman ko ‘ito destiny ko.’”
Salang on why he loves Ai Ai:
“(Ang sagot ko) hindi ko alam, wala naman kayong magagawa, yun ang gusto ko eh. Para sa akin, kapag nagtataong ‘Babe, tinitignan mo ba yung age gap natin?’ Sabi ko ‘ako hindi ko maramdaman yung age natin ay ganito. Parang feeling ko ay magkasing-age tayo, magkasing level tayo, yung ganoon,’” Salang said.
John Lloyd Cruz and Ai Ai delas Alas movie is now on the works under Star Cinema!
Star Cinema is again trying out a unique movie pairing of lately. They are testing the grounds for unconventional commercial movie. But this time around John Lloyd Cruz who just revealed in a recent interview that his popularity as a leading man is already almost up will show us again that no matter who is being paired with him the movie still makes money.
His acting ability is already proven with different partners in the movie and on TV. Plus this pairing with Ai Ai will make him into a more rounded actor that he already is.

Star Cinema is already working on a movie that will star Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas and The Star for aAll Season Ms. Vilma Santos!
It will be a comedy movie to be directed by Wenn Deramas of ang Tanging Ina Mo fame.
They even said that the movie will be a possible entry of Star Cinema for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (GMMSFI) announces the official winners of 42nd Box-Office Entertainment Awards after the judges’ deliberation held last night, April 9, at Danes Publishing House, Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City. The 42nd GMMSFI Box-Office Entertainment Awards coronation and awards night will be held at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
As what was leaked before, the announcement confirms the crowning of Box-Office Kings title to Vic Sotto and Senator Bong Revilla for ”Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote”, and Ai-Ai delas Alas as Box-Office Queen for the movie “Ang Tanging Ina Mo: Last Na ‘To”, both films are entry to the 2010 MMFF.
Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga are the Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies for the Star Cinema movies “Sa ‘Yo Lamang” and “My Amnesia Girl“.
Agua Bendita stars Matteo Guidicelli and Andi Eigenmann was chosen by GMMSFI as the Most Promising Male and Female Stars.
