Kapamilya Network has once again released its much awaited ABS-CBN Christmas station ID!
The race to the much-anticipated grand finals of “The Voice of the Philippines” is set as its top 8 artists fight for their survival to win a coveted slot in the top-rating and Twitter-trending singing-reality show’s much-anticipated grand finals.
The competition heats up in the last two weeks as “The Voice” airs four Live Shows on September 21, 22, 28, and the grand finals on September 29. Viewers can also vote during Saturday’s Live Shows.
This Saturday (Sept 21) and Sunday (Sept 22), the two remaining artists of the teams of Apl de Ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Lea Salonga will finally face off to determine the top 4 artists who will battle for the “The Voice of the Philippines” title.
The viewing public and the coaches have an equal say on who will advance to the grand finals, as determined by the combined percentages of the public votes on Saturday’s and Sunday’s Live Shows, as well as the coaches’ scores.
Competing for Team Apl are four-chair turners ‘mighty’ Thor and Janice Javier, who will bring years of professional performing experience to the stage. Whose voice will win the hearts of viewers and coach Apl’s?
For Team Sarah, meanwhile, divas Morissette Amon and Klarisse de Guzman will try to outperform each other to remain in the show. Both are young, passionate, and singing competition veterans, but in “The Voice,” the two will be pushed to their limits for their dream of becoming the next singing superstar.
For Kamp Kawayan or Team Bamboo, the competition is down between singing heartthrobs Paolo Onesa and Myk Perez, who seem to have captured the hearts of the public, as proven by their consistent top ranking in the previous Live Shows’ poll results.
Fighting to represent Team Lea in the finals are singing pros Mitoy and Radha, who are expected to turn in an explosive battle of powerhouse vocals. Will Radha get her second shot at fame or will Mitoy secure his place in the limelight?
Who will be declared as the top 4 artists to compete in the grand finals?

Rocker Bamboo Manalac who decided to pick acoustic singer and looker Paolo Onesa over father ans son dou of Mark and Willy Cordovales on last Sunday’s Battle Round of “The Voice of the Philippines”!
Onesa was obviously surprised when Manalac chose him after their performance of the Apo Hiking Society’s “Panalangin,” especially after coaches Lea Salonga and apl.de.ap chose the Cordovales duo.
“Naaliw ako sa mga galaw ng mag-ama,” apl.de.ap said.
Musician Joey Ayala, who is helping Manalac, even acknowledged that the Cordovaleses have the advantage because of their “natural harmonies.”
But Manalac eventually chose Onesa, which he declared as one of the dark horses in the hit TV talent competition.
“I believe in you,” he told the contestant. “Just believe in yourself.”
Many people online were also not pleased with Bamboo’s decision.
Do you think that he decided to pick Onesa because he looks good on television and when time comes for people to vote by text and online he will surely have an advantage?

‘The Voice of the Philippines’ kicks off Battle Rounds and Lea Salonga says: “Promise, iba na ang suot!”
The Philippine edition of the hit global franchise “The Voice” kicked off its highly anticipated “Battle Rounds” Tuesday, three weeks ahead of its scheduled telecast.
“The Voice of the Philippines” on July 8 started the two-day taping of the talent search’s second phase, which will have the four superstar-coaches trim down the number of members on their respective teams by pairing them up in a singing showdown.
The artist in each “battle” who impresses their coach will continue on to join the live performance phase of the competition.
In its official accounts on various social media platforms, the production behind “The Voice of the Philippines” shared sneak-peeks of the coaches on the Battle Rounds set.
One photo shows coach Bamboo Mañalac at the side of the boxing ring-inspired stage while appearing to guide artists on his team. Earlier photos also show coaches Sarah Geronimo and Allan “apl.de.ap” Pineda rehearsing for the Battle Rounds.
Coach Lea Salonga, on her Twitter page, had earlier expressed excitement about the next of the show. The Broadway star said:
“Battles starts on Sunday, July 28. Promise, iba na ang suot!”
With the airing schedule of the Battle Rounds set later this month, five more episodes of the Blind Auditions are expected to air.
As of the most recent episode of “The Voice of the Philippines” aired last Sunday, Mañalac has already recruited nine artists; Geronimo and Pineda, eight each; and Salonga, seven.
Each coach is forming a team of 12 artists.
Hosted by Toni Gonzaga with Alex Gonzaga and Robi Domingo, “The Voice of the Philippines” airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. and Sundays at 8:15 p.m.
