pahiram

The series, which is under the helm of award-winning Director Maryo J. Delos Reyes, featured a formidable cast headlined by Ms Lorna Tolentino, Christopher de Leon, Mark Gil, Alessandra de Rossi, Max Collins, Neil Ryan Sese, and Dingdong Dantes.

As the program wraps up this Friday, will Cindy (Max) finally forgive Janice (Lorna)? Will the mother and daughter seek the path of reconciliation in the end?

What will be Cindy’s reaction if she finds out about Alex’s condition? Will Cindy’s heart soften and give Alex another chance at love or be a father to her child?

Pahiram ng Sandali airs after Indio on GMA Telebabad.

‘Pahiram Ng Sandali’ is Now Down to Its Exciting Final Two Weeks!

Viewers of GMA Network’s primetime drama PAHIRAM NG SANDALI can look forward to more compelling plot twists and big confrontations as the series comes down to its final two weeks from March 4 to March 15.

Lorna+and+Dingdong+3

The program challenged the conventions of traditional drama soaps because some situations and problems depicted in the series are relatable to the viewers. The entire cast headlined by Ms Lorna Tolentino, Christopher de Leon, Mark Gil, Alessandra de Rossi, Max Collins, Neil Ryan Sese, and Dingdong Dantes delivered noteworthy performances which hooked viewers with each succeeding episode.

More revelations and conflicts will be revealed in the last 10 days of the series as Janice (Lorna) promises to help Alex (Dingdong) to get back with Cindy (Max). Alex tells Janice that he does not want his child to experience his same fate and he wants to be a good father.

However, Cindy continues to give Alex the cold shoulder despite his relentless efforts to win her heart. She will not allow Alex to be the father of her child because of his past affair with Janice. She suspects that Alex and Janice still have a special connection every time she sees them together. It breaks her heart whenever she is reminded of her boyfriend’s ‘brief but life-shattering moment’ he shared with her mom.

Will Cindy finally let go of her anger and frustration and truly give Janice forgiveness? Will the mother and daughter forgive and forget each other’s faults and seek the path of reconciliation in the end? A mother’s love for her child is infinite. But can a child take for granted and turn a blind eye to her mother’s unconditional love?

Will Cindy’s heart soften and give Alex another chance at love or be a father to her child?

Meanwhile, Larry (Mark) asks Andrew (Neil) to mend his relationship with Alex. Andrew agrees with his father’s wishes but he is already sick and turns suicidal.   Will Alex and Andrew peacefully resolve their differences and mend their relationship in the end?

All these and more await viewers as the last two weeks of Pahiram ng Sandali continues right after Indio on GMA Telebabad.

Dingdong Dantes transferring to TV5?

In an interview on the set of his primetime series on GMA-7 – “Pahiram ng Sandali” – Kapuso royalty Dingdong Dantes belied rumors that he is negotiating for a possible transfer to another network after his contract with GMA-7 expires.

dingdong

Although Dingdong did not expound on the terms of his existing contract with the kapuso network and the duration of its validity, he gave the assurance that his contract with GMA-7 is still very much active and that he is still very much a kapuso.

It is not the first time that rumors have circulated in the past about the actor possibly moving to another network.  The speculations even gained more ground this time when the actor recently appeared in a movie produced by the other network.  But Dingdong himself says that he is still happy being a kapuso.  He also said that he, personally, is not negotiating with the other network.

Meanwhile, Dindong spends most of his time taping for “Pahiram ng Sandali,” which is nearing the end of its very successful run.  He says he is enjoying the experience especially because he gets to work with veteran actors like Lorna Tolentino and Christopher de Leon, whom he praises for his professionalism.

“Isa sa mga paborito kong eksena ay yung eksena ko with Mr. Christopher de Leon.  Siya ang masasabi kong pinaka-accurate na artistang nakatrabaho ko.  Mula sa rehearsal hanggang sa final take e saktong sakto ang dinedeliver niya na acting at lines, walang labis, walang kulang kaya hangang-hanga ako sa kaniya,” the actor said.

In the series, Dingdong plays the role of Alex, a budding photojournalist who ends up having an illicit affair with his much senior boss Janice (Lorna Tolentino) who is married to Phillip (Christopher de Leon).  A love triangle forms when Janice and Phillip’s daughter Cindy (Max Collins) falls in love with Alex (Dingdong Dantes).

How will the characters go about this conundrum? Find that out in “Pahiram ng Sandali” airing weeknights on GMA Telebabad.
