Julia Montes and Enrique Gil pairs-up in a new Teleserye, do you feel it?

ABS-CBN has announced that its newest Primetime Bida drama series will be topbilled by two of today’s most promising stars, Julia Montes and Enrique Gil, in celebration of 60 years of Philippine Television.

Coming from Julia’s successful series “Mara Clara” and “Walang Hanggan,” and Enrique’s “Budoy” and “Princess and I,” the two Kapamilya young stars are set to return in Primetime TV as they star in the newest teleserye that will surely open the hearts of everyone.

Because of the fans’ growing excitement for Julia and Enrique’s tandem, the hashtags such as #ExcitedForJuliaMontesAndEnriqueGilTeleserye and #HappyJulQuenDay recently made it to the list of nationwide trending topic in the popular social networking site Twitter. Championship match between Team Gino and Team Jao happens this Sunday!

ABS-CBN’s royal teleserye “Princess and I,” which stars Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, Khalil Ramos, Albert Martinez, and Gretchen Barretto, is now down to its last three weeks.

It will air its last episode on February 1 (Friday).

As part of the show’s grand celebration for its success and royal countdown to its finale,  the much awaited “Princess and I Royal Fair: Final Game” between Team Gino of Daniel and Team Jao of Enrique will finally happen this Sunday (January 20) at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.

Aside from the whole cast, the royal basketball match will be graced by special guests including well known professional basketball players and University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) cagers like Jeric Fortuna of University of Santo Tomas and Jeron Teng of De La Salle University who will play as guest players in the event.

‘Amorosa: The Revenge’ movie poster and trailer revealed!

Star Cinema and Skylight Films has just released the official movie poster for their upcoming horror movie “Amorosa: The Revenge.”

 

“Amorosa” stars Angel Aquino, Enrique Gil, Martin del Rosario, Empress and Xyriel Manabat.

The haunted-house/ghost movie also stars Carlo Aquino, Franco Daza, Lloyd Samartino, Nico Antonio andNanding Josef, and under the direction of Topel Lee of the “Ouija” fame.

“Amorosa” is set to open in theaters on August 29, 2012.

‘The Reunion’ movie trailer and poster revealed!

Star Cinema released THE REUNION Full Trailer! Featuring four of the most promising actors of their generation - Xian Lim, Enrique Gil, Kean Cipriano and Enchong Dee, “The Reunion” is about a group of friends who are looking for the true meaning of love and happiness. The said flick is inspired by the songs of the hit 90′s Pinoy rock band Eraserheads titled “The Reunion”.

Also in the cast are Cristine Reyes, Megan Young andJulia Montes.

The Reunion follows the journey of Lloyd (Enchong), Bogs (Enrique), Pat (Kean) and Joax (Xian) after their life in high school and now struggling in their everyday lives. From being popular in the campus their lives changes and leads them to the things they never imagined to happen. Wanting to make it right, Lloyd, Bogs, Pat, and Joax trace back to their lives searching where things went wrong in order to change their future. Going back to memory lane brings back all the fun they had in their high school lives including first love and heartaches. With all this will they finally make things right?

Directed by Frasco Mortiz, the movie which will open in theaters nationwide on August 15, also stars Alodia Gosengfiao, Tom Rodriguez, Matt Evans, Bangs Garcia, Joseph Marco and Ms. Gina Pareño.

Gretchen Barretto very effective with Her Villainous Role in ‘Princess and I’!

Amid the huge following of the hit love quadrangle happening among the teen cast of ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime series “Princess and I,” TV viewers cannot help but notice the regal presence of the show’s villainess, Ashi Behati, portrayed by award-winning actress Gretchen Barreto.

La Greta recently claimed the spotlight as she stirred up strong emotions among the loyal followers of “Princess and I” since her character arrived in the Philippines to check on her son Dasho Jao, played by young actorEnrique Gil.

Behati’s surprise visit to Manila was such a hit among viewers that it generated various reactions via Twitter–“‏@DJKathXstrology: Go Ashi Behati! Based on the combined average of nationwide urban and rural ratings of Kantar Media last June 20, it garnered 39.1% national TV ratings compared to its rival program in GMA, “Luna Blanca” which only got 15.7%, registering a 23.4 difference. The show remains the top 2 most watched TV program in the Philippines, next to “Walang Hanggan.”

It’s Enrique Gil’s turn to guest co-host ‘Sarah G Live” this Sunday!

Sarah takes everyone in another world-class concert experience this Sunday (June 10) in her solo musical variety show “Sarah G. Live!” with “Princess and I” lead star Enrique Gil as her guest co-host.

 

The fun-filled episode will be sparked up by the performance of Pinoy rock band Aegis and the birthday bash of the resident dance royalty Gab Valenciano as he prepares a smash up dance number with his sister Kiana and ‘special friend’ Coleen Garcia. In the ‘Sige Go’ segment, Sarah is set to reveal her cooking skills with the “Junior Master Chef” kids Kyle at Jobim. Still with Sarah in the upcoming episode are her resident co-host Luis Manzano, musical director Louie Ocampo, choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy, G-Force, and director Erick Salud.

‘Princess and I’ is Philippine TV’s 3rd Top Program!

ABS-CBN’s royal drama “Princess and I” instantly won the hearts of viewers nationwide as it made it on the third spot of the overall top TV programs in the country based on data from the global industry-trusted multinational audience research group Kantar Media.

The trending and top-rating drama series topbilled by the ‘primetime princess’ Kathryn Bernardo together with its powerhouse cast Albert Martinez, Gretchen Barretto, Precious Lara Quigaman, Dominic Ochoa, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla, and Khalil Ramos gained an average national TV rating of 28.8% after debuting last April 16.

With its breathtaking sceneries especially shot in Bhutan, moving musical score, grand costumes, and its top-caliber cast, “Princess and I” quickly rose to the national TV ratings list and even trended worldwide frequently in the popular microblogging site, Twitter. In fact, recently, six out the 10 top trending topics were about the characters and latest revelations in the drama series–#AngDealNiGinoatMikay #HoldingHands #Tippy #Mikay #Gino and #DanielPadilla.

Meanwhile, the adventure of Mikay (Kathryn) continues as she closed a deal with ‘bad boy’ Gino (Daniel) and played as his special date in exchange of money which she will use to get his father (Dominic) out of prison. Will this special deal draw Mikay and Gino closer or will this make them hate each other even more? ‘The Princess and I’ Premieres on Monday

ABS-CBN’s newest and biggest royal teleserye “The Princess and I” will finally premiere on Primetime Bida this Monday (April 16) topbilled by its powerhouse cast Albert Martinez, Gretchen Barreto, Dominic Ochoa, Enrique Gil, Khalil Ramos, Daniel Padilla, and Kathryn Bernardo.

“Princess and I” will feature the story of how King Anand (Albert) and his daughter Princess Mikay (Kathryn) find their way back to each other’s arms after being separated by a tragic accident that changed their lives.

The newest teleserye is set to capture every Kapamilya’s heart with its grand preparation from its remarkable plot, to its marvelous costumes, up to its memorable scenes taken at the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Kathryn, Enrique, Precious Lara Quigaman, Gretchen, and Albert got geared up and went all the way to Bhutan last March to shoot different scenes for the series. The newest ‘Primetime Princess’ Kathryn even admitted that she became closer with her friend and co-star Enrique after getting to know the actor more in the South Asian kingdom.

Joining the cast are some of the respected names in the industry Yayo Aguila, Nina Dolino and Sharmaine Suarez. “Princess and I” is directed by Dado Lumibao and Francis Pasion.

Enrique Gil has decided to shun away from sexy stunts for now!

At last year’s Cosmo Bachelor Bash for the women’s magazine Cosmopolitan, actor Enrique Gil became well known for his sexy stunt.

This is what he said:

“After last year nag-enjoy ako ng sobra. The crowd was amazing, lahat sila sumisigaw. Gusto kong ulitin pero sabi ko mas okay kung huwag muna.”

Don’t worry guys it is just for the time being as he said:

“Siguro may time ulit doon, pero ngayon i-enjoy ko muna ang pa-tweetums muna kasi kapag medyo tumanda na hindi ka na makakabalik sa pagpapa-tweetums.”
