In the interview Gerald was quoted as saying “Yes, I’m in love with Maja Salvador” and “Yes, she’s my girlfriend”!

ABS-CBN Corporation was the biggest winner at the Golden Screen TV Awards 2012, including the top plum Outstanding given by the Entertainment Press Society (EnPress) Inc.
ABS-CBN bagged the Outstanding Television Network Award for winning the most number of awards in both entertainment and news categories. It was the first time in the history of the Golden Screen TV Awards that the award for Outstanding TV Television Network was given.
Overall, ABS-CBN received a total of 26 awards vs GMA’s 19 and GMA News TV’s 3.

Kapamilya drama prince Gerald Anderson will star in the upcoming “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode this Saturday (February 9), which will share the touching tale of a family that remained strong despite life’s greatest trials.
Gerald will play the character of the third child of the late Senator Rene Cayetano (to be portrayed by Tommy Abuel), Alan Peter. For the Cayetano siblings, life was too simple because they had their father Rene who made all the decisions and they would just follow him.
But their worlds suddenly turned upside down when their dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
How did the Cayetano siblings turn their father’s weakness into their family’s strength? How hard was it to move on especially when the person who died was the family’s main source of ‘life?’
Aside from Gerald and Tommy, also part of the upcoming “MMK” episode are Jackie Lou Blanco, Justin Gonzales, Carla Guevarra, Sam Concepcion, Pica Lozano, Empress Schuck, and Eslove Briones. ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic finally issued a statement regarding the shouting incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano that occurred on the set of the first day of taping of the up-coming teleserye “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin”!
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Star Magic it said:
“Has the utmost confidence not only in Gerald Anderson’s exceptional ability as an actor, but also in his unassailable personal character and professional behavior.”
On Monday, ABS-CBN Head of Corporate Communications Bong Osorio announced:
“Due to the unfortunate incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano that transpired on the first taping day of ‘Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin,’ the ABS-CBN management and the management of Maricel Soriano have agreed that Maricel will no longer be part of the cast.”
The series, which also features Cristine Reyes, Rayver Cruz and Diana Zubiri, will still proceed as scheduled.
