Gerphil Flores Advances to Grand Finals of Asia’s Got Talent!

Gerphil Geraldine Flores, a Filipino music student, is moving on the grand finals of “Asia’s Got Talent”!

El Gamma Penumbra advances to ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ grand finals through the “Golden Buzzer”!

Shadow theater group from the Philippines’ El Gamma Penumbra got its second Golden Buzzer during the last semi-final leg of Asia’s Got Talent Thursday night, April 30, 2015. The group will fast track to the grand finals next week.

In the live semifinals episode of “Asia’s Got Talent,” the all-Filipino group once again moved judges, this time with a story of a family torn by war but reunited eventually.

The performance was hailed as a “golden act” by the judges, securing them a spot in the final leg of the competition where the group will join fellow Philippine acts Gerphil Flores and Gwyneth Dorado, who are both singers, and dance group Junior New System.

“Gandang Lalake” Grand Finals this Saturday in “Showtime”!

After showcasing career-oriented men working across different fields for three months, “It’s Showtime” has brought together 58-semi-finalists who will compete for the grand title of its beauty pageant “Gandang Lalake” this Saturday (October 18).

They have already shown that they are role models in their own way, so the 58 men now have to prove again their charm and wit in the question-and-answer portion of the semi-finals. With 30 seconds on the clock, each semi-finalist is tasked to answer a question by presenting a word or a group of words and explain his answer.

The semi-finals of “Gandang Lalake” covers various and diverse professions, with a collection of contestants that include a financial advisor, miner, tricycle driver, marketing agent, engineer, flight attendant, waiter, bus conductor, service crew member, barber, call center agent, and a DJ.

At the grand finals on Saturday, only the top 15 finalists will get the chance to showcase their talent, as well as their poise in the formal wear competition. It will also feature the return of host Vice Ganda as one of the pageant’s judges.

Talentadong Pinoy 2014 Grand Finals Set this Saturday!

Following the successful return of Talentadong Pinoy 2014, the first and longest running talent show of its kind in the country holds this year’s season 1 finals night where seven equally determined talentados will battle it out and vie for the P100,000 prize and the privilege to be the first hall of famer with a guaranteed slot in the show’s much-anticipated grand finals night in December.

Airing this October 4, the Talentadong Pinoy 2014 Season 1 Finals Night features never-before-seen performances of Lights Production, Mystique, Crew Mechanix, Empoy & Entoy Brothers, Madibeats, Street Voice and Tazmania. Who will be the Ultimate 1st ever “I Am PoGay” Grand Winner?

Twenty three good-looking and talented gay heartthrobs have started battling it out in the week-long grand finals of “I Am PoGay” for a slot at the pageant’s much-anticipated finale this Saturday (May 10) in “It’s Showtime.”

From these 23 finalists, ten will be selected by judges Lani Misalucha, Richard Gomez, and host Jhong Hilario to qualify for another tough talent showdown. On Saturday, watch out for two surprise judges who will be joining Lani, Richard, and Jhong on the panel.

The top 5 will then get into the final question and answer portion that will ultimately determine the first ever grand winner of “I Am PoGay.”

Roel Manlangit is the grand winner of PGT Season 4!

Thirteen-year-old singer Roel Manlangit is the grand winner of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 ,  during the results night held at the Pagcor Grand Theater in Parañaque City last night, June 3.

The YouTube sensation from Bukidnon garnered 30.22 percentage of votes, allowing him to win the P2 million cash prize.

He wants to rebuild their house that was destroyed during Typhoon Pablo.

During the June 2 performance night, Manlangit showed  his powerful voice with his rendition of Bamboo’s “Noypi.”

Manlangit is the third singer who won the  Pilipinas Got Talent, the others are Jovit Baldivino (Season 1), Marcelito Pomoy (Season 2) and the Maasinhon Trio (Season 3).

Watch "Showtime" grand finals on July 24!

Sunud-sunod ang malalaking pasabog sa Showtime habang papalapit ang kauna-unahang grand finals nito ngayong Sabado (Hulyo 24) sa Ynares Sports Center, Antipolo City at ang inaa ba­ngang ikalawang season nito sa darating na Lunes (Hulyo 26).

Noong nakaraang linggo ay inanunsiyo ang wild card round o second chance para sa mga gru pong hindi pinalad makarating ng finals. Ginulat naman ang mga hosts ng programa na sina Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, at Kuya Kim Atienza nitong Lunes (Hulyo 19) nang ipaalam sa kanila na magiging hurado sila tulad ni Vice Ganda sa buong wild card week.

Pero wala pa ito sa nakaabang na sorpresa sa gaganaping grand finals kung saan maga ganap ang isang misteryosong pagbabalik na may kinalaman sa pagpili ng grupong magwawagi at ta tanggap ng P1 milyon premyo.

Bilib naman ang mga bumubuo ng programa kabilang ang kuwelang sina Jugs ng Itchyworms at Teddy ng Rocksteddy sa mga grupong lalaban sa finals.

“Kahanga-hanga silang lahat. Lahat sila panalo na dahil nakapagdala na sila ng aliw at kasiyahan sa mga manonood. Ipinakita rin nila ang pagiging po sitibo ng mga Pilipino, ang patuloy na paglaban mas ki sa harap ng krisis,” ani Vhong.

At tulad ng Madlang Pipol, sabik na rin sila sa ika lawang season na magsisimula sa Lunes (Hulyo 26).

“Sa Showtime mo lang makikita ang bawat host, judge, crew, director at maging Madlang Pipol na kumakanta at sumasayaw at talagang nage-enjoy magkakasama. Patuloy naming pagbubutihin ang trabaho namin para magdala ng saya sa bansa,” sabi naman ni Anne.

Sino o sinu-sino kaya ang magbabalik at aling grupo naman ang mananaig sa wild card week upang lumaban sa Wall of Famers na Kasibulan, Perlas ng Silangan, Mortal Combat and the Showgays, Beat Guys, Sensei, Savannah Kids Ballroom Dancers, Philippine Islands Assasin, at Enlighten Black Theater Group?

Alamin sa Showtime wild card finals ngayong Biyernes (Hulyo 23). Huwag ding palampasin ang pinakaaabangang Showtime The Finals sa Sabado (Hulyo 24) live sa Ynares Sports Center, Antipolo City, 10:15 ng umaga sa ABS-CBN at season 2 sa darating na Lunes (Hulyo 26) pagka tapos ng Simply KC.
