The ABS-CBN’s Summer Station ID for 2013 has just been released!
The summer station ID carries the theme “Kwento ng Summer Natin,” with Sam Milby and Angeline Quinto performing the theme song.
For this year, the network is going down memory lane decade by decade as it relives the biggest shows and pop culture trends over the past 60 years, with Kapamilya stars bringing back the most popular programs that have left a mark on Filipinos over the years.

Award-winning actress Mylene Dizon topbills “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (August 18) as she portrays the role of Flor, a devoted wife, mother, and daughter-in-law who did everything to keep her family complete.
Deeply in love with her husband (Jake Cuenca), Flor remained kindhearted and caring to her mother-in-law, Lagring (Daria Ramirez) even after she found out that the grandmother of her sons did not really like her. But a day came when Flor found the courage to fight back when Lagring tried to physically hit her. Unfortunately after the incident, Tony took the side of her mom and ousted Flor from their house and kept the kids away from their mother.

Actor Jake Cuenca is ecstatic about the continuing success of their Kapamilya Gold teleserye, “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo,” which remains to be the no. 1 afternoon drama series in the country today.
Jake said that it feels good that their avid followers even share, through social networking sites, their sentiments about the show’s well-loved characters, striking lines, and memorable scenes.
“We are so flattered and thankful how viewers respond to our show,” said Jake. “I think people appreciate it for being realistic and because they can relate with the personal struggles of Paul (Jake), Sarah (Shaina Magdayao), Mia (Bangs Garcia) and their families.”
Jake further shared that he enjoys portraying the role of Paul, the husband who cheated on his wife for his ex-girlfriend.
“I learn a lot from Paul, especially from his mistakes,” he said. “Now that Paul is back in the Philippines, he will pay for all the pain he had caused Sarah and Mia. He will really suffer. And that is what viewers should watch out for.”

ABS-CBN premieres another top-caliber drama about two women whose bond of sisterhood will be challenged when they fall for only one man this Monday (July 9) in “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.”
Under the direction of blockbuster director and master story teller Wenn Deramas, “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” marks the first ever teleserye of world-class actress Iza Calzado as a Kapamilya as well as the anticipated television comeback of heiress of drama Andi Eigenmann.
The show also paves the way for the momentous team up of Iza and Andi with two of the most sought after leading men in showbiz— Gabby Concepcion and Jake Cuenca. Follow the story of Andrea (Iza) and Veronica (Andy), two different women brought together by fate. In their childhood years, they will learn to love and care for each other like real sisters. The two are inseparable until unfortunate circumstances will set them apart.
