JM de Guzman “Tensyonado” Album Track List revealed!

After the successful release of his self-titled debut album from Ivory Records, Kapamilya hunk JM De Guzman, is back to captivate the hearts of fans with his newest outing called “Tensionado.”

Released under Ivory Music & Video, “Tensionado” is a collection of JM De Guzman’s renditions of his favorite songs featuring “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart, “Lost In Space” by Lighthouse Family, “Don’t Give Up On Us” by David Soul and “Tensionado” by Soapdish. In addition, you surely wouldn’t want to miss JM’s collaboration with singer Jaq Dionisio of Kiss Jane in the hit Itchyworms song “Akin Ka Na Lang”, the track chosen to be the album’s carrier single. Acoustic Diva Suy also showcased her soulful and relaxing voice in her duet with the singing heartthrob in the special track “Terrified”.

JM De Guzman gets personal and bares it all as he includes two of his original compositions on this album. “Please define love for me. It’s the only thing I just can’t live without.” “Warrior” is an acoustic ballad about searching for one’s self in this endless journey we call love. On the other hand, JM sings about unrequited love in “Stupidest”.

“Sana kung hindi ko man malampasan yung unang album, at least I did my effort para mapantayan dito sa bagong album,” said JM in a recent interview with MYX.

“Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto,” warmly welcomed by Filipinos in its pilot week!

Filipinos warmly welcomed the return of Angelito (JM De Guzman) on afternoon television as the premiere of “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto” hit a national TV rating of 13.5% last Monday (July 16),beating its rival program with only 10% based on the combined urbal and rural TV audience measurement data from Kantar Media.

The show also consistently beat its rival show in the succeeding days, making it a very strong contender in the afternoon block. Viewers first followed Angelito’s struggles as a single dad in “Angelito: Batang Ama” which was the number one afternoon drama series in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold.

As his story continues in this new chapter, Angelito also confronts new challenges in his life as a family man. He recently discovered that Rosalie’s dad Delfin (Al Tantay) has another family after bumping into Rodel (Aldred Gatchalian), Delfin’s son out of wedlock. Angelito has also yet to learn about Jenny (Kaye Abad) bearing his child which will surely rattle his marriage with Rosalie (Charee Pineda).

Kapamilya leading man JM de Guzman topbills “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (July 28) as he will portray the role of Acmad, a man who fell in love with a beautiful but elusive lady named Flor (Marlann Flores). Despite Flor’s rejection and harsh treatment, Acmad did not give up and remained driven to win Flor’s heart. Until one day, Flor shocked Acmad when she agreed on living together with him in exchange of P700.

‘Angelito: Batang Ama’ ends with High Ratings!

ABS-CBN’s afternoon series “Angelito: Batang Ama” ended on a very high note as its finale episode last Friday (April 13) with a high TV viewership as reflected in the national TV ratings data of Kantar Media.

 

It obtained an 18% TV ratings nationwide, considerably high for an afternoon series.

The cast and production staff of “Angelito: Batang Ama” treated fans with a special screening at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN for the finale together with their idols led by JM De Guzman, Charee Pineda, and Kaye Abad.

The crowd was all eyes on the wide screen as Angelito and Rosalie shared a tear-jerking moment when they found each other at the place where their love for each other began. They went wild, however, when the two shared a passionate and daring kissing scene.

Apart from JM, Charee, and Kaye, the other cast members who attended were Elizabeth Oropesa, Al Tantay, Jason Francisco, Tom Rodriguez, Devon Zeron, Josef Elizalde, Lemuel Pelayo, Beauty Gonzalez, Joshen Bernardo, Bea Basa, and Eliza Pineda.

“Angelito: Batang Ama” tells the story of Angelito, who at a young age, faced face the responsibility of being a father after he accidentally got his high school girlfriend pregnant.

Viewers followed his colorful journey from his struggles as a young father learning the ropes of raising a child to finding a job to provide for his son’s needs. They witnessed the hardships and challenges he went through his life until he was reunited with Rosalie and his family again.

“Angelito: Batang Ama” tackled the sensitive topics of teenage pregnancy and presented the perspective of the young father, which is hardly portrayed, discussed or tackled.

JM de Guzman lands lead role in a movie about Pinoy saint “Pedro Calungsod”!

JM de Guzman will play the role of the seconf Filipino saint Pedro Calungsod in a movie!

This is the biggest break for JM as this is his first lead role in a movie.

JM is doubly excited to start filming and has this to say:

“Yeah, tuloy na! Wala pang exact date na mag-i-start, pero ang sabi sa akin, ang target date is October. Another big opportunity kasi first leading role ko sa movie, so excited!”

JM wants to improve as an actor:

“Basta, ang dami ko pang gustong patunayan, e. Paghahandaan ko talaga ito nang mabuting-mabuti, ire-research ko siya.”

On what other people said on his role:

“Nakakatawa nga kasi yung mga nagsasabi na, ‘Baka after niyan maging santo ka na! Kung may mga kailangan akong gawin, gagawin ko for the role. Mahirap talaga maging santo, mas mahirap na maging santo sa panahon ngayon kaysa maging masama.”
