‘Showbiz Inside Report’ Beats Rival Program with Its In-Depth Showbiz Reporting!

ABS-CBN’s trending Saturday showbiz-oriented talk show, “Showbiz Inside Report” (SIR) won in the nationwide ratings game last Saturday (June 16), beating its rival program in GMA, “Startalk.”

According to the latest data of Kantar Media, SIR’s ‘Ama sa Lahat ng Panahon’ episode garnered 8% national TV rating compared to its competition which only got 6.3%. The said episode presented in-depth and never-before-heard stories from three of the most controversial family men in showbiz today—Richard Gomez, Eddie Gutierrez, and Rommel Padilla. TV viewers were inspired with the exclusive accounts of Richard and Eddie on how they transformed from being showbiz’ most eligible bachelors to responsible husbands to Lucy Torres andAnnabelle Rama and daddies to their kids. The same episode made Rommel a worldwide trending topic on Twitter with his touching story of how he managed to become a father to his kids from the different women of her life, including Karla Estrada’s first born and now one of ABS-CBN’s hottest teen sensations, Daniel Padilla.

ABS-CBN’s “Palibhasa Tanghali” will shake-up noontime show soon!

Now that Richard Gomez, Joey Marquez and John Estrada of the “Palibhasa Lalake” fame are back on ABS-CBN, they think that they could bring back viewership and stir fans to watch a new noon time show.

Rumors has it that the trio will be the new host of a noon time show titled Palibhasa Tanghali and move back Showtime to its original time slot since the ratings are very dismal on their new timeslot.

The network is believed to be conceptualizing a new show for the trio, and bring back the rating that Wowowee once had.
