ABS-CBN has announced that its newest Primetime Bida drama series will be topbilled by two of today’s most promising stars, Julia Montes and Enrique Gil, in celebration of 60 years of Philippine Television.

Coming from Julia’s successful series “Mara Clara” and “Walang Hanggan,” and Enrique’s “Budoy” and “Princess and I,” the two Kapamilya young stars are set to return in Primetime TV as they star in the newest teleserye that will surely open the hearts of everyone.

Because of the fans’ growing excitement for Julia and Enrique’s tandem, the hashtags such as #ExcitedForJuliaMontesAndEnriqueGilTeleserye and #HappyJulQuenDay recently made it to the list of nationwide trending topic in the popular social networking site Twitter. Before her highly anticipated grand debut celebration this month, Kapamilya teen actress Julia Montes will give viewers an early birthday treat via her upcoming “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode, where she will portray the role of Diana, a 15-year-old dancer-prostitute.

“When I learned that I’ve got a new ‘MMK’ project, I wanted to start taping immediately. Then when I knew about the story, I got more excited to do it because it’s a chance to show the TV viewers a different side of me,” said Julia. “At first, I wondered how can I portray the role since it’s really different and mature. But I accepted the challenge.”

Together with Julia in the “MMK” episode this Saturday (March 9) are Kiko Estrada, Daisy Reyes, Mike Lloren, Giselle Sanchez, Wendy Valdez, Kazel Kinouchi, Madz Nicolas, Glenda Garcia, Joe Vargasand Alexa Ilacad. And in a recent interview, Julia was asked what chances Coco Martin has,  if ever he decides to pursue her after she turned 18.

She personally invited Coco Martin to be her escort and she even revealed that former suitor Enchong Dee will not be part of the traditional 18 roses dance for her party.

The reason that Enchong could not make it to her party is because of prior commitments. But she originally have him on the list.

This is what Julia said:

“Lahat ng nasa 18 roses, lahat ‘yon friend ko. ‘Yun lang, may prior schedule siya (Dee), ayaw naman ng team ko na mabungi ‘yung 18 roses.”
