It was directed by Party Pilipinas co-director Mark Reyes. It has been viewed on the video sharing site YouTube almost one million times since its upload a day after its TV debut.

“Grabe, sobrang nagulat talaga ako na malaman na no. 1 na yung album sa iTunes. I feel so blessed and I am really thankful to all the fans and supporters who downloaded my album. I hope mapasaya ko kayo sa album ko. Maraming salamat po talaga,” said Julie Anne in an interview before she engaged in a live chat with fans this afternoon via www.gmanetwork.com.

The launching of Julie Anne’s album coincides with the premiere of her movie with Elmo Magalona, “Just One Summer,” which will hit theaters nationwide beginning Wednesday, August 15. The movie is directed by Mac Alejandre and produced by GMA Films.

Julie Ann San Jose is GMA-7′s Rising Star!

The star of 18-year old singer-actress Julie Ann San Jose brightens more as her career keeps breaking through some unconquered territories.

This July 25, as her movie with Elmo Magalona Just One Summer” opens to theaters that should signal another highlight for the success of their love team that has captured the fascination of their fans. The film, directed by Mac Alejandre, takes their tandem a notch higher than what it has already achieved. Their TV series “Together Forever” which airs on Sundays after Party Pilipinas, has gotten reviews from both critics and fans.

Julie Ann, one of GMAAC’s biggest draws, appears as Bertina/Beto in the much awaited big screen project which has for supporting acts the likes of veteran actress Gloria Romero and Sheena Halili. By now her role as Toyang Escueta is already a click figure for her fans and admirers.

This year is by far a harvest time for Julie Ann, a former member of young vocal group Sugarpop who has gone successfully solo, as she has gotten a number of awards and citations from leading award-giving bodies which laud the young achievers. Tatt Awards gave her the People’s Choice Award and the Trending Personality title.

She shares with Elmo the Most Stylish Loveteam honor given at the first Candy Style Awards as their pair was also nominated at the recent Yahoo OMG Awards.

Arguably the most active of teleserye theme singers today, this pop star from Novaliches, Q.C. has given voice to the main themes for Broken Vow and Lie To Me, both instant hits among televiewers. Last year he sang the songs for Sisid and Dwarfina.

Having showcased herself well in the Tween Academy movie and when she appeared in My Kontrabida Girl via a cameo role, moviegoers have noticed her as a genuine acting talent with angelic face and voice to boot. She is finishing an upcoming film called Elias.

Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona Record a Francis M Composition!

Together Forever lead stars Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona recorded earlier today their duet version of “Girl Be Mine,” which is a Francis Magalona composition.

The song will be used as one of the soundtracks of their movie “Just One Summer,” which will hit nationwide theaters beginning August 15.

During the recording session, Elmo and Julie Anne collaborated on how they could give a new “flavor” to the song. Julie Anne helped Elmo out on some tricky second voices, while Elmo guided Julie Anne on some of the melodies since he’s more familiar with his dad’s song.

After months of waiting, the hugely followed love team of Julie Anne and Elmo — endearingly called by their fans as JuliElmo — will finally hit the big screen next month. The two are excited to see the final outcome of their film which took almost six months to complete. They still have several scenes to shoot in the following days, though, including a very “costly” helicopter scene which will be shot in Subic.

“Just One Summer” is directed by Amaya director Mac Alejandre and is produced and distributed by GMA Films.

Party Pilipinas ‘BELIEVE’ this Sunday!

Faith and conviction in one’s talent and dream, that is the loud battle cry of the country’s number one concert party on television with Party Pilipinas “Believe.”

This Sunday, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid returns to Party Pilipinas’ performance stage.

In celebration of Father’s Day, “PP All Stars” honors them with performances by Ogie Alcasid, Regine, Janno Gibbs, Kyla, Jolina Magdangal, Rachelle Ann Go, Mark Bautista, Solenn Heussaff, and Jennylyn Mercado.

Father’s day celebration continues with a special number with the cast of “My Daddy Dearest” featuring Ogie, this time with Jolina Magdangal, Milkah Wynne Nacion, and Kyle Ocampo.

Belief in the youth will be tackled by “Dance Duets” as it takes a graceful turn to address teen issues, headlined by controversial love triangle Mark Herras, Ynna Asistio, and Kris Bernal. And for more exciting grooves, “Sayaw Pilipinas” will move to the best RNB and Hip hop hits of the 90s with the cast of GMA Afternoon Prime’s latest offering, “Faithfully” with cast members Maxene Magalona, Michelle Madrigal, Isabel Oli, Isabelle Daza, and Vaness Del Moral.

Expect more youth power with GirlSquad as they put their girl power game on with Heir of Rap Elmo Magalona. And the spirit of rap music lives on as “Rap Acoustic” features the hits of Gloc9 with performances by the rap icon himself.

Believe in the power of women, and surrender to their charm, Carla Abellana will take you to that level as she celebrates her birthday. Watch out also for Solenn as she will surely sizzle with her own brand of sexy music. More women domination courtesy of tandems ShinKy (aka Rachelle Ann Go and Kyla), JulieFrench (aka Julie Anne San Jose and Frencheska Farr) and La Diva for the much-awaited comeback of Viva La Diva.

Experience young love, and be entertained by super tandem JuliElmo (aka Julie Anne and Elmo) just in time for the launch of their new show “Together Forever”.

Party Pilipinas “Believe” airs this Sunday, June 17, only on GMA.

Elmo Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose’s “Together Forever” premieres this Saturday!

After a successful run of Reel Love presents Tween Hearts, GMA Network brings in another youth-oriented romantic-drama series that will surely capture the hearts of viewers of all ages. TOGETHER FOREVER premieres on June 17 and is top billed by today’s hottest young love team on Philippine TV – Elmo  Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose. Together Forever also stars Janine Gutierrez, Lexi Fernandez, Enzo Pineda, Sef Cadayona, Steven Silva, Benedict Campos, Renz Valerio, Patricia Ysmael and Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco.

Elmo Magalona plays the role of Ely Trinidad. Even though he comes from a well to do family, Ely remains humble and down to earth. He is a music geek and has a talent in writing poems which he will eventually use in his raps. Meanwhile, Julie Anne San Jose plays Toyang, Ely’s best friend. Although she is “one of the boys”, she will eventually develop feelings for Ely. Toyang is raised by a single dad that’s why she would do everything to make her dad happy. She strives to excel in school because she wants her dad to be proud of her. Jasmine will be played by Janine Gutierrez, the eldest Trinidad child, with a charming and effortless beauty.

The Trinidad children, Jasmine (Janine), Ely (Elmo) and Raz (Renz) are rich, sheltered, well-provided for and most of all, loved by their parents. All their wants and needs are always given by their parents – from material things to guidance in life. They live in a perfect world, until one accident takes away their parents and changes everything for them.

Ely, being the eldest son, steps up and takes it upon himself to look after and protect his Ate Jasmine and his younger brother Raz. Toyang, being the best friend of Ely, is always there for him for moral support and when he needs cheering up. This eventually leads to Toyang’s realization about her true feelings towards Ely. Still, the two will remain close friends but one secret will destroy their friendship. Will the two have a chance to rebuild their friendship and rekindle their love for each other?

Meanwhile, Jasmine, the eldest of the siblings, starts to have problems when it comes to self-esteem and believing in herself. Raz, on the other hand, the youngest has an illness that’s why his parents were very overprotective. But in spite of his situation, Raz has a very positive outlook in life.

Now that their parents are gone, the Trinidad siblings are left to find their own ways into this world, to look after each other, and to manage the family business. Life must go on that’s why together with their adjustments, they will also face the struggles of growing up and the confusing times brought by adolescent life. Is the bond and their love for each other strong enough to overcome the struggles and challenges that come their way?

Under the direction of Roderick Lindayag, Together Foreverpremieres on June 17 and will air every Sunday after Party Pilipinasonly on GMA.
