Lady GaGa ‘Born This Way Ball’ concert tour cancelled!

Live Nation and LittleMonsters.com, announced that Lady GaGa had to cancel the remaining Born this Way Ball tour dates due to a right hip injury!

The tour is cancelled for an indefinite time:

For immediate release. Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled. After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip caused by strenuous repetitive movements in her performances. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal. Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.

People in the US find it insensitive and in poor taste since it was just last December 14 that twenty six people killed in a US school massacre at Connecticut’s Sandy Hook primary school using a gun.

Lady Gaga talks about gaining weight!

Many people and also fans of Lady Gaga has noticed that the chart-topping singer looks like she’s gained weight!

The singer is not worried about her weight at all and she is fine with her new curves.

This is what the singer said in a recent radio interview:

“I’m dieting right now, because I gained, like, 25 pounds. And you know I really don’t feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly,” Gaga continued. “It’s hard because it’s a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don’t like that. So I’m trying to find a new balance.”

On what caused her extra pounds:

“I love eating pasta and pizza. I’m a New York Italian girl. That’s why I have been staying out of New York. My father [Joe Germanotta] opened a restaurant. It’s so amazing… it’s so freaking delicious, but I’m telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there.”

Lady Gaga is on the cover of Vogue Magazine’s September 2012 issue, on newsstands August 14.

Below are some highlights from the interview:

On her new fragrance Fame: “The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you.”

On one of the highlights of the Born This Way Ball: “We were talking about putting the show together, and I said, OK, what if I was someone’s grandma and I was going to a concert tonight. How would I know that it was a Gaga show? And we all just sort of looked at each other and said,‘The meat dress.’”

On her music: “I don’t really make records for people to listen to and go, ‘Wow, she’s a genius.” I’d really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.”

Lad Gaga injured herself by a pole in New Zealand concert!

Lady Gaga who just concluded her three night concert in New Zealand was accidentally hit by a pole!

The accident happened last  Sunday during the third of three shows in Auckland. The backup performer accidentally hit Gaga with the set prop while removing it from the central stage. Gaga, holding a mock machine gun, staggers and rubs her head before briefly leaving the stage. She continued the show, part of a world tour.

Gaga’s makeup artist Tara Savelo wrote Monday on Twitter: “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay … cant believe she finished the show.”

Lady Gaga will open the Australian leg of her “Born This Way” tour in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Lady Gaga is the most followed person on Twitter with more than 25 million followers, more than 2.5 million more than Justin Bieber.

Lady Gaga’s concert tonight is a GO!

“Little Monsters” are now rejoicing since all systems go for the second concert of Lady Gaga tonight at the SM Mall of Asia Arena after Pasay City monitoring teams said last night’s show did not violate any laws.

As for me, I really appreciate that there is still freedom of expression in the Philippines. They should not mix artistry to religion.

Lady Gaga declared on the warning against her show:

“I’m not a creature of your government, Manila.”

Lady Gaga told her fans on her concert last night:

“Some people think that I stand for like really inappopriate things, really bad or really irresponsible. Listen you don’t have to boo. I’m slightly irresponsible. Let’s be honest, okay? It’s okay.”

“But they are not completely right. The truth is I want the (expletive) best for you. I want the best for every single one of you. I love you with all my heart and all my soul, I really do.”

Lady Gaga’s concert for Tuesday may be cancelled?

Lady Gaga who will have her second concert here in the Philippines tonight will surely give fans a very excellent show!

But her second concert night slated for Tuesday, May 22 may be cancelled, that is if her show will be deemed offensive to religion, morals and good customs as what Atty. Ray Glenn Agranzamendez, secretary of Pasay City Mayor Tony Calixto revealed.

Lady Gaga may be refused a permit by the Pasay City government to perform at the SM Arena on Tuesday, May 22, Agranzamendez said further.

They are going to monitor her show tonight and will judge if it passes their taste then her second show will still be pushed trough tomorrow.

Filipino performers such as Arnel Pineda and Martin Nievera have advised the Grammy winner to change some of her lyrics during her performance in Manila.

Organizers, meanwhile, said they will try to “stay away from controversial songs.”
