“Maybe This Time” hits P100 M mark in 7 days, International Screening Dates revealed!

The latest Star Cinema and Viva Films offering starring Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo earned more than 100 MILLION now in its first week of showing. This was announced by the movie producer, Star Cinema.

On its opening day, MAYBE THIS TIME earned around 20 MILLION in more than 150 Cinemas nationwide, and earned almost 25 MILLION including its last full shows on the opening day. MAYBE THIS TIME still showing with more than 130 Cinemas nationwide.

“Maybe This Time” will open on June 6 in the U.S. in 35 theatres in the states of Washington, California, Nevada, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Alabama, Virginia, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Florida and Hawaii. Also on June 6, it will screen in Canada in 12 theatres in the cities of Montreal, Ottawa, Scarborough, Toronto, Mississauga, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Surrey, Vancouver, Saskatoon and Regina. Later this June, the movie will be seen internationally in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Greece, Ireland, Norway, France, United Kingdom, Qatar, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates.

Maybe This Time is directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and written by Anton Santamaria and Melai Monge. It also stars Ruffa Guttierez, Ogie Diaz, Dennis Padilla, Marlann Flores, Zeppi Borromeo, Garlic Garcia, Minnie Aguilar, Boboy Garovillo, and Sharmaine Buencamino.

Written by Melai Monge and Anton Santamaria, “Maybe This Time” centers on former sweethearts Tonio (Martin) and Steph (Geronimo) as they cross paths again years after he left her without closure.

“Maybe This Time” is part of Star Cinema’s 20th anniversary.

Sarah Geronimo‘s first movie “Maybe This Time” with a kissing scene with Coco Martin is now showing  nationwide!

In the movie Sarah is cast as of Steph/Teptep, a young girl who has a “summer to remember” with Tonio (played by Coco). He suddenly leaves her without an explanation and seven years later, their paths cross again but Tonio is currently in a relationship with Monica (played by Ruffa).

Since the movie also deals with closure (or the lack of it).

On Sarah’s part she believes that people will find love if it is meant to be:

“Sinabi ko nga, ang Diyos talaga kapag para sa iyo ang isang klase ng pag-ibig, ibabalik at ibabalik niya yun sa iyo.”

On how she felt on her first screen kiss:

“Anong pakiramdam ko nung shinoot yun? Siyempre, kung kinakailangan talaga ng istorya, bakit hindi mo gagawin, di ba? Hindi naman naging bastos ang kissing scene namin.”

If she flt awkward after:

“Hindi naman, hindi naman. Kailangan lang kasi sa istorya.”

Star Cinema and Viva Films has just released the full trailer of the movie MAYBE THIS TIME starring the Phenomenal Actor and Primetime King Coco Martin and Box Office Queen Sarah Geronimo.

For the first time Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo will take the big screen via the movie “Maybe this Time” a joint production of Star Cinema and Viva Films!

The synopsis:

Ito ay love story nina Steph Asuncion (Sa­rah) at Tonio Bugayong (Coco).

Magkaibang-magkaiba sina Steph at Tonio ngunit pareho nilang iniibig ang isa’t isa.

Dala ng mga sirkumstansya na hindi nila kontrolado, napilitan ang dalawa na maghiwalay at magkanya-kanya.

Magkikita sila matapos ang maraming taon upang tapusin ang mga bagay na kanilang iniwan hinggil sa kanilang nakaraang relasyon.

Matapos iwan ni Tonio si Steph, magbabalik siya sa buhay ng dalaga ngunit mayroon na siyang bagong relasyon sa piling ni Monica (Ruffa Guttierez) na boss ni Steph sa PR firm na kanyang pinagta­trabahuhan.

Uutusan ni Monica si Steph na i-reinvent at i-transform si Tonio upang madali itong maging lubusang bahagi ng mundong ginagalawan ni Monica.

Sarah Geronimo’s first movie kiss is with Coco Martin in “Maybe This Time”!

What John Lloyd Cruz ans Gerald Anderson did not do in their movie together with Sarah Geronimo that is a movie KISS, Coco Martin will in their up-coming movie “Maybe This Time”!

Synopsis:

The film, which also stars Ruffa Gutierrez, has Sarah playing the role of an employee in a public firm, which happens to have Ruffa for its top gun. Coco, on the other hand, is a balikbayan. Who comes home after years of working abroad, to look for his teen age love in Sarah.
Their love will rekindle again in this movie.

And in this movie Sarah agreed to have her first movie lips-to-lips kiss.

This is what the movie director Jerry Sineneng said:

“Actually, ’di ko pa nakukunan. Pero excited ako with the kissing scene, since it is Sarah’s first screen kiss nga. Ayokong sa eksenang ito ma-focus ang atensiyon ng mga posibleng manonood ng pelikula.”

“Unfair naman yata sa akin at sa sumulat ng istorya at script. Kasi, minus the kissing scene, maipapangako kong maganda pa rin ang movie. But, of course, malaki at matinding bonus ang kissing scene.”

Star Cinema has released the official poster of the upcoming movie “Maybe This Time” of Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin!

The movie is about about the importance of being true to yourself in order for true love to happen.

Martin plays Tonio, a small town guy who wants to work in a ship to provide for his family, while Geronimo is Steph, a Manila girl who spends the summer in the province to do community service.

The movie’s plot will pick up when their blossoming romance suddenly turns sour when Tonio leaves without saying goodbye to Steph.

Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, the movie is a co-production of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

It also features Ruffa Gutierrez, Dennis Padilla, Buboy Garovillo, Sharmaine Buencamino, Tony Mabesa, Ogie Diaz, Marlann Flores, Zeppi Borromeo, Alex Castro, Minnie Aguilar, Kathleen Hermosa, Garlic Garcia, Cecil Paz and Devon Seron.

It is slated to be released in cinemas nationwide within the year.
