“Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” movie trailer and poster revealed!

Metro Manila Film Festival 2014 entry Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo gives life anew to one of the most iconic heroes in Philippine history.

Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo is a historical action epic that brings to light the powerful, true-to-life story of Filipino revolutionary Andres Bonifacio (Robin Padilla)—one of our country’s national heroes—with his virtues and humanity, unfolding through the eyes of a young man (Daniel Padilla) in this day and age.

Fueled by his ardent passion for the country, its lead star Robin Padilla, vows that this is no ordinary action or historical film. Padilla admits that this film will be an eye-opener to the public particularly the youth.

Joining Padilla is an impressive line-up of cast that includes Vina Morales as Bonifacio’s wife, Oriang. Fans of the two stars are already looking forward to their exciting film reunion.

Also in the cast are Daniel Padilla, Jasmine Curtis Smith Eddie Garcia, Joem Bascon, Junjun Quintana, Cholo Barretto, Isabel Oli, RJ Padilla, Richard Quan, Ping Medina, Isko Moreno, Rommel Padilla, Dennis Marasigan and the special participation of Jericho Rosales as Jose Rizal.

Directed by Enzo Williams, the film also comprises some of the best talents in the film industry, including award-winning cinematographer Carlo Mendoza, renowned production designer Roy Lachica, musical scorer Von de Guzman, and Hollywood stunt director Sonny Sison.

Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo is produced by Philippians Productions. It opens in cinemas nationwide on December 25.

‘Blackhat’ movie trailer and poster!

Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures have just reeled-off the trailer for its upcoming action-thriller “Blackhat” from director Michael Mann.


Set within the world of global cybercrime, “Blackhat” follows a furloughed convict– played by Chris Hemsworth— and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.

Directed and produced by Michael Mann, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Viola Davis, Tang Wei and Wang Leehom, and it is written by Morgan Davis Foehl and Mann. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni produce alongside Mann, while Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod serve as the executive producers.

Opening across the Philippines on January 2015, Blackhat is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

‘The Janitor’ movie trailer and poster!

APT Entertainment’s highly acclaimed Cinemalaya X movie entry “The Janitor” has just received an “A” Grade from the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB).

Captive Cinema has now debuted the official poster for writer/director Dan Gilroy’s Nightcrawler, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, and Bill Paxton.

“Into the Storm” movie poster and trailer!


New Line Cinema has just released the main poster and trailer of its upcoming tornado disaster film “Into the Storm” starring Richard Armitage (Thorin in “The Hobbit” films). Watch the trailer after the jump.


In the film, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes in the span of a single day. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Brad Pitt is war torn in the “Fury” movie poster!

Columbia Pictures has just revealed the poster art for writer/director David Ayer’s “Fury” starring Brad Pitt.

“Fury” is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945.


As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

The film also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs.

Opening in Philippine theaters on November 14, 2014, “Fury” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
