Anne Curtis and Karylle give heart-stopping circus performance in “It’s Showtime”

“It’s Showtime” hosts Anne Curtis and Karylle astounded the madlang people when they became circus performers Monday (Oct 22) for the annual talent showdown of hosts that marks the third anniversary of the program.

The pair rendered a breathtaking performance which included eating shipworm (tamilok) and crickets, fire dancing, aerial acrobatics, and synchronized swimming in a bid to win the P100,000 for their chosen charity.

Yesterday (Oct 23), Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz delighted audiences with their videoke-inspired song and dance number that featured the popular
Oppa Gangnam Style, actress Cristine Reyes, child star Bugoy Carino, and the Sexbomb Girls.

The two tandems will battle fellow hosts Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford, Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario, Kuya Kim Atienza and Ryan Bang, and the team of Coleen Garcia, Eric ‘Eruption’ Tai, and Baby Joy who will also be performing this week. What stunts and shockers will the others come up with?

The acts were not the only revelation in the show as Diamond Star Maricel Soriano was also revealed to make a special appearance in “It’s Showtime” this week as judge for the talent face-off alongside Jericho Rosales, Eula Valdez, and talent managers Alfie Lorenzo and Cornelia Lee or Tita Angge.
The ‘pasikatan for a cause’ will also usher in the new season of the noontime program with new surprises and segments for solid Showtimers.

Meanwhile, Gollayan family of Santiago, Isabela triumphed over eight families to win P1 million in the Bida Kapamilya grand finals last Saturday (Oct 20) with their extraordinary ‘birit’ song and dance number, which earned a perfect score of 10 and a standing ovation from the judges.

Viewers also tuned in to the much-anticipated Bida Kapamilya grand finals as “It’s Showtime” registered a national TV rating of 16.4% against rival GMA’s “Eat Bulaga” with only 15.5%, based on data from Kantar Media.

Don’t miss the talent showdown for a cause in “It’s Showtime,” weekdays and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. sa ABS-CBN.

Anne Curtis is back on “Showtime”!

To the fans of Anne Curtis who missed her so much on Showtime!

Here’s a good news, she will be back live on the show tomorrow, Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

Anne Curtis just wrapped up her scenes from the up-coming B-movie Blood Ransom which is going to be shown in theaters sometime in 2013.

Anne tweeted the following:

“I am excited though to see all of YOU very soon :) Manila, ill see you on Tuesday.”

As usual she also posted on her instagram a teaser poster of the movie.

Are you excited to see Anne back on Showtime?

Anne Curtis leaves ‘Showtime’ teary eyed!

Anne Curtis was teary eyed when she announced that she will leave Showtime for a short period of time!

On last Wednesday’s episode, May 23, he got the surprise of her life when her co-host gave her a despedida sort of farewell on the show. Anee is set to leave the show for a month to pursue a career opportunity which she is not ready to divulge to the public.

Very interesting, I just hope she will make it. She said that she will definitely come back to fulfill her movie, concert, advertisement contracts.

Good luck to you Anne!

“Showtime” Goodbye to old studio and Hello to a new one on Monday!

People are talking when all the guest and the hosts of the show THANKED  its televiewers this morning. But they will still be there on Monday in a new time slot and a reformatted SHOWTIME!

Read it again they just said THANK YOU, they did not say GOOD BYE to its televiewers!

So on Monday( February 6), we are still going to see SHOWTIME in a new reformatted show. Let us just see which one of  the shows segment and hosts will be retained ar will be assigned to a new segment.

Just as what John Estrada and Randy Santiago, hosts hinted on Happy, Yipee Yehey.

John said:

“Buti pa sila isang linggo lang di magkikita.”

Randy answered:

“Buti sila isang linggo natin ‘di makikita. Tayo? ‘Di na makikita.”

Will you still watch Showtime?

“Happy, Yipee, Yehey” OUT, “Showtime” IN!

The ABS-CBN’s noon time show Happy, Yipee, Yehey will run its course by the end of this month!

As what was done before, Showtime will take on its time slot starting February as what our sources said. I hope that this time around it is for good or they will just put it right back to its original time slot again once they have a new idea for a noontime variety show.

What do you think, will ABS-CBN pull the plug this time around?

Even though they are giving away millions to its viewes on the show, but still the ratings are very, very low. Will Showtime’s new time slot improve its rating?

What do you think?
