Angel Locsin and Paulo Avelino is set to fire up your Primetime soon with “Ang Huling Sayaw”!

Angel Locsin is set to return to primetime bida via ABS-CBN’s upcoming teleserye with Paulo Avelino as her new leading man.

After winning 3 best actress awards (Star Awards for the PMPC for Movies, the FAMAS and Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Box-office Awards for Movies) recently for her performance in the MMFF movie “One More Try,” ABS-CBN is bringing Angel Locsin back to primetime via a romantic teleserye pairing her with Urian awardee, Paulo Avelino.

According to reports, the still untitled teleserye will also star Andi Eigenmann and will be helmed by Rory Quintos. The fan-made poster above is titled “Ang Huling Sayaw.”

Meanwhile, Angel is also filming another movie for Star Cinema. Her co-stars in the said movie are Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga, Shaina Magdayao, and Enchong Dee.

Julia Montes and Enrique Gil pairs-up in a new Teleserye, do you feel it?

Angel Locsin will be seen once again on TV, and she will be paired with Paulo Avelino together with Andi Eigenmann in a yet untitled teleserye!

The said teleserye will be directed by Rory Quintos.

If all plans will push trough, the teleserye will be be aired on primetime. And for sure the story will be a light mature drama (just a thought nothing is definite about the story as of now).

Out of the 30,000 hours of various content it has sold worldwide since 2000, ABS-CBN International Distribution has sold approximately 40% of these to eleven Asian countries, enabling non-Filipino, Asian viewers to enjoy top-calibre Filipino programs on their own television screens.

Among these, Malaysia is the top buyer of ABS-CBN dramas with more than 3,000 hours of content sold to Malaysian TV networks Astro Bella and TV3 since 2000.

“Magkaribal,” “Prinsesa ng Banyera,””Dahil May Isang Ikaw,” “Impostor,” “Imortal,” “Budoy,”and “Iisa Pa Lamang” were some of the titles sold to Astro Bella, Malaysia’s first in-house pay TV channel for telenovelas. These account for the 850 hours of content bought from ABS-CBN by this TV channel owned by the Malaysian satellite provider Astro. “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” is Astro Bella’s highest-rating Filipino drama, registering an amazing 67% audience share.

TV3, Malaysia’s first commercial television station, meanwhile, has bought 95 hours of content from ABS-CBN through Malaysia’s leading integrated media investment group, Media Prima.

One of the shows it has acquired is “Mara Clara,” which proved to be a big hit during its run in TV3 after it successfully gained an average of 1.5 million viewers. The Malaysian network is set to air “My Girl” in January 2013 and this early on, is expressing a strong interest to acquire “My Binondo Girl” and “Be Careful with My Heart.”

Cambodians are likewise shaping up to be avid viewers of ABS-CBN dramas. ABS-CBN has sold 28 canned shows to Cambodian TV channels capped by the recent landmark deal made with Cambodian Television Network (CTN) to localize the hit primetime series “Pangako Sa ’Yo” by 2013.

Aside from Malaysia and Cambodia, other Asian territories where ABS-CBN titles have been sold for a non-Filipino audience are Brunei, Myanmar, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea and Taiwan.

Nora Aunor and Alice Dixson teleserye in the works!

The next project of Nora Aunor for TV5 is a teleserye together with Alice Dixson!

As of the press time they are still looking for a leading man, they are supposed to get Christopher de Leon, but he is not available since he is doing another soap in the Kapuso network.

Their next choice is Cesar Montano, but he still has yet to decide  if he will accept the offer or not.

Maricel Soriano and Dina Bonnevie reunites in the up-coming ABS-CBN teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin which topbills Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes!

The will be joined by Tonton Gutierrez, Rayver Cruz and the newly turned Kapamilya Diana Zubiri in the cast.

Maricel Soriano who has not been visible lately is back into acting and she doubly excited to work again.

On acting again:

“Magandang project kasi. ‘Yun ang pinag-usapan namin na gagawin ko so tapos na ‘yung bakasyon ko. Na miss ko ang (ABS-CBN) oo naman, na miss ko ang (acting).”

On working with young actors:

 ”Nae-excite ako kasi isang (pagkakataon) ito na makakatrabaho ko ang mga young ones na alam ko ay mahuhusay sila.”

On working with Dina and Tonton again:

“Nae-excite ako at makakatrabaho ko ulit si Tonton at saka si Dina. Siyempre excited ako kasi matagal na kaming hindi nakakapagtrabaho. ‘Yung huli namin ang tagal na kaya balik tambalan ulit.”

Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes topbills up-coming teleserye!

Gerald Anderson and Cristine Reyes will be up next for a primetime teleserye on ABS-CBN!

This has just been revealed by Diana Zubiri who just signed in as new Kapamilya. She is over excited to be working with Gerald Anderson and she even further revealed that Gerald wil be paired with Cristine Reyes.

Many netizens have only negative comment of the new pairing or love team of Gerald and Cristine.

Many says that the two have no chemistry whatsoever. But, let us just wait what the two have to offer and also the network. We just hope that they will offer anew and ewxciting story line for this teleserye, not the usual love triangle which one of the character is obsessed with the other.

Bong Revilla, Jennylyn Mercado and Rhian Ramos topbills “Indio” for GMA 7!

A historical-epic teleserye is coming up courtesy of GMA 7 which topbills Bong Revilla, Jennylyn Mercado and Rhian Ramos titled Indio!

This will be another mark in Philippine television history since the period teleserye will revolve in the time when Spaniards are in power in the country.

The teleserye will be directed by ABS-CBN director Dondon Santos who directed the ”Agimat series” and some “Komiks presents” episodes, and he will jump to Kapuso network just for the teleserye.

 

Jodi Sta. Maria, excited for the new teleserye with Richard Yap (Papa Chen)!

Still untitled teleserye starring Jodi Sta Maria, Richard Yap and Mutya Orquia is in the works and Jodi is already ecstatic to start working!

The soap will see Yap take on his first leading role in a series, following his stint as “Papa Chen” and his guest-starring role in “Walang Hanggan.” After playing Sophia in “100 Days to Heaven,” Sta. Maria will also headline the series along with Orquia of the “Mutya” the mermaid fame.

This is what Jodi said:

“Na-excite ako kasi na-miss ko ring mag-work. After the success of 100 Days… medyo nagpahinga ako tapos eto naman, meron naman akong bagong soap na gagawin. Siyempre nagpapasalamat ako sa ABS-CBN na hindi nila ako pinababayaan.”

On her new love team in the soap:

“Nakakatawa ’yung term na love team. Parang pang-teeny bopper. Nakaka-excite naman din kahit paano na sa edad namin meron pa ring love team. Uso pa rin,” natatawang sagot ni Jodi. “First time ko makakatrabaho si Papa Chen. Na-e-excite ako kasi alam ko na bagong experience. Alam kong marami akong matututunan from him.”

On her role in the teleserye:

“Ang role ko rito, isang babaeng taga-probinsiya. Very positive ang outlook niya sa life kahit sobrang sama na ’yung nangyayari sa paligid niya. Nakaka­kita pa rin siya ng good thing out of the bad ones na nangyayari, believer siya ng love, ’yung ideal love para sa kanya, ’yung love between her parents.”
