‘Willing Willie’ cools off for two weeks, but will the show returns?

Willie Revillame announced on his show ‘Willing Willie‘ yesterday, April 8, that they will go off air for two-weeks starting tonight.

The show will be on air for 6 months this coming April 26, due to the controversies that hound the show when the young boy ‘Jan Jan’, danced his way in the show many critics are already condemning the host and the show. The sponsors are starting to pull out of the show one after another.

Willie Revillame dapa kay Kris!

Tinamaan kaagad ng jackpot ang The Price is Right noong Abril 2 sa bago nitong timeslot tuwing Sabado pagkatapos ng Failon Ngayon.

Bukod sa isa na namang Pilipino ang nag-uwi ng major prize showcases ay panalo rin ang programa sa ratings base sa nationwide overnight ratings ng Kantar Media.

Sa rating na 14.2 percent, pasok kaagad ang game show ni Kris Aquino sa Top 10 TV programs noong Sabado. Pinadapa rin nito ang mga katapat na programa na Wish Ko Lang (12%) at Willing-Willie (9.7%).

Kaya naman masasabi na bukod sa si Kris ang hindi matinag na Reyna ng Game Shows ay ang The Price is Right na nga ang numero unong game show sa bansa.

Tuwang-tuwa naman si Kris sa pagkapanalo ng ika-limang grand winner ng kanyang programa na si Regie Santos. Paano kasi ay na-sweep nito ang mga premyo mula mini-game hanggang jackpot round.

Sa kabuuan, isang brand new Mitsubishi Strada truck, isang footware showcase, ottoman chair, 6-seater dining room set at P160,000 cash ang inuwi ni Regie, na nagtatrabaho sa isang fastfood.

Sino naman kaya ang susunod na grand winner sa programa? Tutukan kasama ang Queen of All Media na si Kris Aquino, tuwing Sabado sa ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN is at Willie Revillame again files a P127 M copyright suit!

ABS-CBN has lodged a P127 million copyright suit against its former talent, Willie Revillame, his production outfit (WilProductions, Inc.), and ABC5 , now known as TV5,  before the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC). ABS-CBN had also filed for Temporary Restraining Order to stop Revillame, TV5 and their other co-defendants from further producing and airing the show Willing-Willie.

Among the acts of plagiarism listed in the complaint are:

  1. Willing Willie’s opening song and/or dance number led by its host;
  2. Wowowee’s Biga-10 as against Willing Willie’s Big Time Ka;
  3. Wowowee’s Willie of Fortune versus Willing Willie’s Willtime Bigtime, which contain portions where the contestants tell their personal stories and showcase their talents before they play a singing and/or trivia game;
  4. Wowowee’s dancers/characters also appearing in Willing Willie, most notable of whom is April “Congratulations” Gustilo; and,
  5. The set design, stage, studio viewers’ seats lay-out, lighting and camera angles of Willing Willie are also strikingly similar to Wowowee.

PNoy on Shalani Soledad's entry into showbiz!

The Valenzuela City councilor Shalani Soledad is the co-host of comedian Willie Revillame on the TV5 game show “Willing Willie.”

President Nonoy Aquno said of the new direction of his former girlfriend’s career:

“I understand she looks at it as a perspective to broaden her ability to serve her constituents. So I hope the upside will be fully attained, she finds fulfillment and happiness in it. As far as the downside of being in show biz is concerned, hopefully (it) will be very mitigated or non-existent.”

AGB Nielsen data shows that Willing Willie with host Willie Revillame and the entry of co-host Shalani Soledad beat the tandem of Korina Sanchez and Noli de Castro in ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol in Mega Manila. Willing Willie and GMA 7′s 24 Oras got 11.6% and TV Patrol got 10.7 % of Mega Manila’s household share in the rating game.

Willie Revillame is back!  On October 23, Saturday, Willie returns to television with his much awaited, highly anticipated show “Willing Willie” on TV5. Everyone is talking about it; everyone is excited; and now it’s finally here. The Kapatid Network’s first daily game show has everything – exciting games, life-changing prizes, catchy music, hi-tech set, sexy dancers, and of course, Willie’s humor, sympathetic hosting style and charisma.

The show airs at 5 to 7 pm on Saturdays and 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. It will definitely change the Philippine TV landscape as the timeslot used to be lorded over by news programs. But as Willie observes, this is family bonding time, usually over dinner. It is better to spend the evening with laughter and games – than bad news and crime reports.

The tagline of the show is “Tuloy ang saya. Tuloy ang pag-asa.” The “saya” or happiness part will come from the games. “123 Go!” is a game where 50 players from the studio audience battle it out in a multiple choice contest. Questions are answerable by either 1, 2 or 3. “Family Apir” is a funny, highly physical game. The “pag-asa” or inspirational part comes from the interview segment of “Wiltime Bigtime.” This is the heart and soul of “Willing Willie”. Here, we feature players from all walks of life – basurero, labandera, students, teachers, soldiers, sidewalk vendors, etc. We will laugh with them, cry with them, be inspired by them. Willie Revillame's TV5 shows to push through!

TULOY na tuloy ang dalawang bagong palabas ni television host Willie Revillame sa TV5, ang Willing Willie at ang Born To Be A Star!


Ito ang binigyang-diin kahapon ni Joel Bodegon, lead counsel ni Revillame, upang itumpak ang mga naglabasang maling balita kaugnay ng hearing noong Biyernes sa kasong isinampa ng komedyante laban sa ABS-CBN.
Nilinaw ni Bodegon na hindi totoong nakipagkasundo sila sa mga abogado ng ABS-CBN na hindi muna itutuloy ni Revillame ang kanyang shows sa TV5 hangga’t walang desisyon ang korte sa kaso.
“I wish to clarify that there was no agreement to any status quo arrangement with ABS-CBN during the chamber conference with Judge Luisito Cortez of Branch 84 of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) last Friday (October 8),” ani Bodegon.
“Precisely, we strongly objected even to ABS-CBN’s presentation of evidence in support of its TRO application and the judge did not allow them to. It is therefore utterly inconsistent for us to agree to any status quo arrangement. All we agreed to was to file all the pleadings by October 15, nothing more, nothing less.”


Matatandaan na hiniling ng ABS-CBN sa korte na isyuhan ng temporary restraining order (TRO) ang dalawang shows ni Revillame sa TV5.
Nauna sa TRO petition ng ABS-CBN ay hiniling ni Revillame sa korte na kilalanin o bigyan ng judicial confirmation ang pagkansela sa kanyang kontrata sa ABS-CBN bilang host ng show na Wowowee.
“Since the court has yet to resolve the issues, nothing prevents Revillame from appearing in a new television program in another network,” ani Bodegon.
“Our position is that ABS-CBN’s TRO application has no legal leg to stand on and there are third persons who are not parties to the case to whom Revillame has no control of. So how can we possibly agree with them that Revillame’s new program should be delivered?”


Ani Revillame ay siya ang naagrabyadong partido sa usapin dahil ang kanyang kontrata bilang Wowowee host ay walang kaabug-abog at walang-pasabing kinansela na lang ng ABS-CBN nang kanselahin nito ang kanyang show.
Idinagdag niyang kung kanselado na ang kanyang kontrata bilang host ng Wowowee, malaya na siyang pumasok sa anumang kontrata bilang host ng ibang shows sa ibang network.
Sa harap nito, wala ring karapatan ang ABS-CBN na panghimasukan pa ang kanyang career, lalo na ang kanyang karapatang-pantao na maghanap ng ikabubuhay.
Ang Willing Willie ay may game show format habang talent search naman ang Born To Be A Star.
Kaakibat ng judicial confirmation sa rescission of contract at humingi naman ng P11 milyong danyos si Willie sa ABS-CBN, na ang itinugon ay ang pagsasampa ng P486-milyong countersuit.
Ayon sa mga abogado ni Revillame ay dapat madeklarang in-default ang ABS-CBN sa kaso dahil sa hindi nito pagbabayad ng docket fee at hindi pagsusumite ng maayos na pleading sa reklamo ng komedyante.

ABS-CBN seeks TRO on Willie's new show!

ABS-CBN Corporation on Tuesday filed a petition seeking to prevent Willie Revillame from hosting his much-hyped upcoming show on competitor TV5.

The Kapamilya network asked the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) and a writ of preliminary injunction to stop Revillame “from committing further violations to his contract with the network” by launching “Willing Willie.”

The show will reportedly air this month over TV5.

In a 38-page petition, ABS-CBN appealed to the court to restrain Revillame from creating or performing work in companies that are direct competitors of ABS-CBN.

It also asked the court to stop the TV host “from engaging in activities which are adverse to the interests of ABS-CBN.”

ABS-CBN cited his contract with TV5 and show “Willing Willie,” which, it said, is very similar to the defunct “Wowowee” on ABS-CBN.

Revillame reportedly was hands-on in the creation and conceptualization of the variety and game show.

ABS-CBN also cited TV5’s official statement issued on September 17 confirming that Revillame has signed a contract with the network to host a variety and game show.

ABS-CBN asserted that Revillame is bound to comply with his current obligations under the agreement he signed with the Kapamilya network.

While the court has not decided on the judicial rescission case filed by Revillame, the TV host decided to enter a new contract and agree to perform in new shows.

“Revillame’s actions show that he has decided for himself that he can do as he pleases despite the honorable court’s taking cognizance of the issues,” ABS-CBN stated in the petition.

In a statement from ABS-CBN Corporate Communication Head Bong Osorio, when Revillame chose to ignore his contract with the Kapamilya network, it was left with no choice but to ask the courts to intervene.

“The issue on Willie Revillame is all about honoring a contract. To ABS-CBN, it is not only the ethical and right thing to do. It is a noble act of a person or a company that values honesty and integrity. These values are reflected in the way we do business in ABS-CBN. We honor what we say and we expect our people, talents and partners to reciprocate the trust and honor we give them,” said Osorio.

“If a person or company gives honor and respect to a contract, conflicts can be avoided. Just like in a family, do you walkout simply because your attention was called?” he added.

Revillame violated the behavioral provisions of his contract when he threatened the ABS-CBN management during the May 4 episode of “Wowowee” with a resignation if management does not fire another artist of the network.

After weeks of hiatus, Revillame resurfaced and called for a press conference that he is rescinding his contract with ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN has maintained that it is the aggrieved party, and as such, is the only one that can decide to end the agreement.

"Willing Willie" starts 10.10.10!

Willie Revillame‘s “Willing-Willie” will finally be pushed through on October 10, 2010, it will be managed by Wil Productions Inc. and co-produced with TV5. Despite the legal hurdles that it is now going through,they are all positive that the airing of its pilot episode on TV5.

Willie has been rehearsing for the show, with some former talents of the defunct “Wowowee” who’ve been loyal to him and who opted to join him in his new home station.

Willie signed up with TV5 after he rescinded his contract with ABS-CBN (which is yet to expire on September 2011) and after his lawyers scrutinized the legalities that they are going to go into and gave the go-signal. Said Willie’s lawyer, Atty. Joel L. Bodegon: “It took some time for us to give Willie the go-ahead to sign up with TV5 because we have to meticulously scrutinize all the technicalities and legalities of his former contract. We wanted to make sure that his transfer will be as smooth as possible, without further legal drawbacks and hitches that can hamper his growth in his new network. With everything we’ve done and the actions that we plan to do, we believe that Willie is on the clear to work and grow anywhere he wants.”

Willie Revillame's new primetime show on TV5 premieres Oct. 10!

A very reliable source said that Willie Revillame’s return to television is already set. The date, time and venue are already booked.

With all the denials from TV5 that they know nothing about Willie Revillame’s transfer to their network. Everything is already polished Willie will start his new show on primetime  titled Willieng- Willie on Oct. 10, 2010 on TV5. It will be telecast live from Skydome in Pasay City which is co-produced by Willie Revillame and Viva Television. They will just be a block timer hence they have all the control on how the show will be produced and TV5 is only broadcasting the show just like what Eat Bulaga is on GMA7!

Willie was already seen twice on the venue and plans to renovate a place for his dressing room since what they have their is too small for him.
