Below are some excerpts fro the interview:

On whether or not he’d embrace his stripper past off screen:

“Well, we’re going to start a [Magic Mike] show in Vegas, and I’ll never say never. . . . I wouldn’t mind going out there and doing it one more time. Or maybe twice. But, you know, every time I’ve put on a thong and am getting ready to walk onstage again, I’m like, ‘Why do I want to do this?’ It’s very uncomfortable to be in a thong in front of a thousand people.”

On his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, ending his debate about whether he should forget the thongs for Magic Mike XXL:

“But my wife was like, ‘You cannot have a movie without these guys getting in thongs.'”

On how he and Jenna felt while recently watching their movie Step Up (2006):

“Me and Jenna just saw Step Up on TV, and we watched it for two seconds. We made that 10 years ago or something. It was hard because you’re like, ‘Wow, I remember it being so much better.’ Then other times you’re like, ‘I remember it being worse.’ Things happen that change your perspective. Not just your opinion but your windshield, your lens. Like you put on a 50-mm. [lens], then take that 50 off and put on a 16. Now you can see so much more, but you’re missing the little things. I think for a while I’m going to try to make movies that, even if they don’t make a dollar, I’ll still be so proud to be a part of them that it won’t matter.”

Carla Delevigne is on the cover of Vogue!

Carla Delevigne is on the cover of Vogue Magazine’s July 2015 issue!

Below are some excerpts from the interview:

On being over modeling:
“Modeling was an amuse-bouche, an hors d’oeuvre, never the main dish. Acting is and always was the thing: “The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modeling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera.”

On her mother’s heroin addiction: “It shapes the childhood of every kid whose parent has an addiction,” she believes. “You grow up too quickly because you’re parenting your parents. My mother’s an amazingly strong person with a huge heart, and I adore her. But it’s not something you get better from, I don’t think. I know there are people who have stopped and are fine now, but not in my circumstance. She’s still struggling.”

On her girlfriend, the singer Annie Clark:  “I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.”

Cara Delevingne is on the cover of The Wall Street Journal’s June 2015 issue!

Here’s what the 22-year-old actress and model had to share with the mag:
On the downside of the modeling industry: “It’s horrible living in a world where I’ll get a call from someone saying, So-and-so says you were partying a lot and you were looking this way and you need to lose weight. It makes me so angry. If you don’t want to hire me, don’t hire me.”On putting her dream of becoming an actress on the back-burner to pursue modeling: “I basically gave up on acting, because trying to get an agent was impossible. Everyone said, ‘You’re just a model,’ … once I had my mind set that I was going to do this modeling thing, I really wanted to beat it, if that makes sense. Win it.”

On modeling: “I ended up feeling a bit empty. Fashion is about what’s on the outside, and that’s it. There’s no searching, it’s just creating pretty things.”

Charlize Theron is on the cover of ELLE!

Charlize Theron is on the cover of ELLE UK for June 2015 issue!

Below are some excerpts from the interview:

On how she managed to score equal pay for her role in “Snow White and the Huntsman”:

“I have to give them credit because once I asked, they said yes. They did not fight it. And maybe that’s the message: That we just need to put our foot down. This is a good time for us to bring this to a place of fairness, and girls need to know that being a feminist is a good thing. It doesn’t mean that you hate men. It means equal rights. If you’re doing the same job, you should be compensated and treated in the same way.”

On working with boyfriend Sean Penn on “The Last Face”:

“Putting aside that he’s my partner, he’s the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made it hard. There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like… he was incredibly unfair to me. But it makes you realize that no matter how complicated it gets, the priority is the relationship.”
